Transfers between Non-Schengen flights are awful in Vienna if they take slightly more time. Concourse A was not designed to function as a hub, therefore a plane change in Vienna is horrible (between A gates). Even if your journey starts in Vienna it is horrible at certain times. But the new terminal with a new state-of-the-art concourse will ease the situation significantly in 2009.

i can see my shop on th left side, and it´s really hard for people with non visa to stay the whole night in vienna, because there´s no exit to the transit gate with all shops.

If you´re in gate A then you have to stay there. And but if i stay open th whol night, i wouldn´t earn anything, bcause ther are too less people who buy something at night, that´s th reason why i close at 10pm

You should see the airports in the United States. Oh my god, they really suck. Everything run down and you often only get junk food for high prices.

Vienna is not good if you have a long layover, but before I stay 16 hours in the concourse I rather go to the city. Moreover, I would never book a flight including such a long transfer time without having any entertainment planned! And believe me, 16 hours are everywhere hard to sustain!

Well...hello hello...I live in the US and the airports I have used as a traveler are all better than Vienna.

As far as junk food and high prices goes, let's not even get started with airport prices or prices in general in Europe.

Did you think Vienna was a cheap place to visit?

Last time I was there a disposable camera went for 8 Euros.I couldn't believe it.

Well, I paid almost 6$ for an disgusting burger at Fort Lauderdale Airport, while Vienna has even got a supermarket. I used New York JFK, Boston, Washington IAD, Miami, Atlanta, Houston and New Orleans - and most of them were a real disgrace! Old, boring, congested and very expensive. High prices are a worldwide problem, therefore I rarely buy something at airports.
