Thanks for the tour, Gary. I remember the xmas tree farm from last year.. lots of work. Good luck in you little corner temporary home. I'm sorry you have to move out for such a short time. You are a good man to help out on the farm with all going on with you. I see more greatness coming your way.
hey, good luck with moving!! I'm actually living in Australia too, at the moment. Maybe I'll see you around one of these days... maybe I'll go to one of your workshops :)
It wouldnt be you tube without some dumb troll would it? Gary, thank you for sharing this part of of your life with us. Under the circiumstances I think you doid, and do, a terrific job! x
What a great adventure you have had and all the richer for it. Dont forget that there are great adventures ahead!, Norways loss is Australias gain! YAY!
Gary, thanks again for sharing your life with us. It must be an emotional rollercoaster for you at the moment. I have also had a marvellous time reading the comments, particularly those from @zooberlin100...my my...what a mean spirited, small minded egotistical little retard he/she/it is!! SO pleased to read they he/she/it has unsubscribed. Keep on doing what you do, you are a warm, funny and sharing person, thanks again.
Such a beautiful place to live! It couldn't be more opposite my life here in LA. I miss that type of beauty. Your life is like a dream to me, living on your own, surrounded by nature and cold. I live stuffed to the gills with family detritus in a big city. How I wish I could wake up for a just a week in your world. But I would want to come back because my heart is here. Nice to spend time with you Gary.
Gary, Love your beautiful soul...stay positive. You bring a smile to my face & a lightness to my heart & I really enjoy watching you work. You always inspire me to get up & into my studio instead of on computer.
I'm so excited for you Gary. You look so good and healthy and seem so resolved and content at least with the situation. My chest felt heavy watching this. I really just wanted to cry, but hell, I'm not going through anything, right, you are! It's very refreshing to see someone so beautifully strong. I know you will be so happy back home with your "mates" and the people who love you so much...as we all do!!
@zooberlin100 BYW I think those of us who have been following Gary for awhile are fully aware that this channel is part of an overall package, including the LMM site. Lucky for us, we get the full package with Gary: art education, art display, some insight into who Gary is as a person AND and artist, and comedy skits (sometimes). He has many facets. Personally, I like the inspiration, the warmth and the laughter (no one wears a pigtail hat better) :) Joan
Thanks for sharing with us, Gary. I love your art videos but it's lovely to "get to know you" through your videos as well. Glad to see you are feeling upbeat and looking forward to the future. I'm sending warm thoughts to you during this transitional time. Take good care. :) Joan
Glad you decided to get yourself out of the unhealthy situation Gary. Beautiful country but there are other beautiful places that will make you just as or even more happy! And as far as the "zoo" person... Real People care about Real People! Nuff said. =D
I sence both sadness and elation in your'e video. It is indeed a beautiful place, so glad that things are moving forward for you during a difficult time. But wow, Gaz you are going to shine, even more so when you go to Australia..cant wait to see what you are going to do creatively!
Thank you for taking us on the trip to some favourite places, I enjoyed it very much : ) Blessings to you Gary. XX
thanks for the tour of the farm. we are pecan farmers and love it when it gets cold enough for the ground to freeze. sure makes harvest easier. waves~~from texas
GORGEOUS area where you live! I know you will miss that. Sounds like his parents are really great people and I'm sure they will miss you! Thanks for the tour! :)
Great to see you getting back on track Gary. A new life is building inside you and will reappear in brilliant artistic form when it is ready, for all to see and enjoy. I look forward to that day my friend, it will be awesome.
There will always be people who do not understand anyones situation in life but there own and they do not deserve your time, thoughts or emotional resonce. It can be to tough kicking such small minded people to the curb, but it's worth it.
I'm so glad to see you're moving on, Gary! So so happy to see you smiling again and being your old enthusiastic self. :o) You rock and I love watching your vids on art and your life in general!! Lots of Love from USA! xoxox _Alisa P.S. I can't believe I only counted ONE car you passed on your drive to the lake!? Awesome. :o)
What a beautiful countryside....lots of source for inspiration & heaps of wilderness to escape to. Feel a little sad that you have to leave it all behind BUT onwards & upwards to bigger better things. BIG HUGGIES xOx
I have been so moved by your experience in Norway. I can imagine you will miss it dearly. Do you think you will ever return? You are such an admirable and strong person. I am very excited for your return to Australia! I think your imagination, creativity and artistic talents are going to take an amazing turn. I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Lots of kisses love and I wish you the best. Thanks for inspiring my work.
This has been a fantastic tour, Ive really enjoyed it. You live in such a beautiful place. Its such a shame you have to leave but Im sure you are looking forward to a new chapter in your life. And at least if I ever holiday in Norway.....I know where the spare keys are, lol. And dont worry about certain people who leave rude comments.....they cant even spell!! There arent many channels Ive "sighed" up too. lol. Lee x
I don't mind if you look to the left heheh What a beautiful place! Thanks for taking us there, I love the roads! And soon you'll be basking in the sunny Australia this time of year
Hey guy, thanks for sharing. It's strange right, that you have this life that we have grown to be interested in, and we are from all over the world. It's great to see where you live and get your inspiration. When in New Orleans please shout out! Plan a trip and I will show you the town and it's dark and interesting treasures...
Is it already Christmas tree cutting time again? That's nice you are staying to help harvest- it's a hard job- Ive done it before! I've also helped plant 22,000! I know once you are in OZ you will eventually miss this place a bit from time to time along with Eirik and his parents. I know this will be a good move for you emotionally and for your art career. Good luck with everything........ Mo
@zooberlin100 Well i am really sorry about that please please forgive me please please please please please please it will never ever ever ever happen again ok ok i hope that is ok with you is it??? please please im so so so FUCKING SORRY I AM HOWEVER sorry you signed up, so please unsubscribe yourself!
@zooberlin100 and @CapricornArtist73. I normally don't comment, but this time I must. If you signed up for information about art, then the first lesson you should learn is that art is emotion. If you lack that, then you don't have the passion to really do anything that will be remotely successful or fulfilling. Artists draw inspiration from their life experiences, changes in their environment and the emotional roller coaster that is life. Too bad you can't appreciate that.
@Aixza Darling...I am an artist and I assure you art is not only emotion. It is also intelligence, cognition, motivation, aesthetics, and creativity. I have unsubscribed so no need to fret or tel others what they cannot appreciate. Have you heard of the concept "maturity"?
@zooberlin100 Without emotion all the aspects you described are just the finishing touches on any piece of art. Tell a true artist that his work has everything but he lacks passion or emotion and they will be offended. Human nature is to be intrigued by artists not just their art. What is the drive behind their work? Questioning this would be intelligent. And "maturity"? I'm a 37 yr old Estate Planning Attorney. The comment was to point out a simple fact that you as "artist" failed to see.
@Aixza You have appeared to follow your own agenda and not paid attention to my comment. I did not write that emotion is not part of art; it is one part of art but it is not the only aspect contained in art. I assure you that cognition is as much part of art (visual, music, drama, dance) as is emotion. I suspect you are trying to idealise or romanticise art and artists; we don't need you to do that.
@zooberlin100 Your ignorance & baseless half-witted argument show that you need additional schooling/research before calling yourself an artist. "Idealize or romanticize (both misspelled)"? Heard of the Romantic era (18th Century)? It inspired a movement in music, art, literature & politics that we now enjoy in modern society. Idealism, a method used by many artists throughout history? Seriously? Who is "we"? I have a minor in Art, so study up before attempting to strike a cognitive discussion.
P.S. You can't argue with ignorance, stupidity or craziness. Take your pick. But I will no longer entertain your comments. Especially since you missed the point. Gary is an exceptional artist and I can't imagine tainting all the positive comments on this video with your ignorant tirades. This creative channel is, after all called CapricornArtist73, not learn howtopaint101 or informationaboutart101.
@zooberlin100 Sorry you felt the need to leave this comment which seems totally inappropriate and uncalled-for (I COULD of course be far more graphic and crude here) given the circumstances. But obviously you don't know and/or don't care what Gary is going through. Those of us who do know him, do care, and like to see these glimpses into his life. Maybe you will think twice about leaving such unnecessary comments in future.
@zooberlin100 Wow, such a d-bag. Artists don't make art 'because it's cool' they do it because of what happens in their life and it's reflected. Don't be a waste of flesh.
Thank You oh so much for Sharing!! Hope your Last Month in Norway is pleasant and so you can rejuvenate before you go back to Australia - Sending you lots of positive Karma and Hugs xxx
good luck in your new adventures. :)
