this song - besides 'Be My Baby' - is what reminds us all what a terrific group this was. Ronnie Spector has such a smooth, sexy voice. brings back good memories.
The mighty wall of sound, somebody please tell me why Roni did'nt get the song I think "River deep and mountain high, i can hear her sing it during "Do I love you". Or is it me.
@vabization great question - WHY didn't Phil give Ronnie 'River Deep, Mountain High'?? her voice would have been perfect for that classic. no disrespect to the great Tina Turner but Ronnie's smooth voice would have taken the song in a whole other direction.
These lovelies were the premier girl group of the 1960s -- and the competition for that honor was stiff -- can't get enough of their great songs...Ronnie is *sensational*...
I just saw Ronnie last night and she was fantastic. SHe sang t his song and "So Young' and her Christmas songs and well, her band was fantastic, background singers and Ms. Spector tore it up. She sang very well, looked great, and gave a wonderful Christmas show. I took my mom again to see her. I believe we've seen her four times now at the Mohegan casino here in CT which is always a holiday treat. God bless our singers from the past who are still doing it.
There is no question or evan a debate that these ladies were the best of their time then and their music is still moving and touches your inner soul. Their talent and beauty will never be chalenged. Thank you ladies, Your gourgous. I could listen to all your music all day.
How I love this music ! There's something about it that's so Beautiful . I never heard this song before ,I imagine it was a b side ? It's in my favorite's !
*One of few records with just Veronica, Estelle, and Nedra on it with NO OTHER ADDED IMPOSTER VOICES! The other release with Just The Ronettes was *I Can Hear Music*1966.
@levenshon It means that the people who had it listed have removed it for some reason. When that happens just look for someone else who has it listed on YouTube.
The Ronettes were one of the greatest then and they are now. I still can't get enough of them. This is groovy, man. I still got my record of this and I am dancing to it.
Nedra was a real honey.

Enjoying the video on this, my favorite Ronette recording.
It has an old 8mm movie look to it.
Thanks for posting this great song.
