  • This Anglo-German relationship is simple to explain: At the time, tried in London this version, more adapted to the German, as this was more successful. Unfortunately, this does not work completely and starlight in London closed its doors. Now you ever tried the German show more of the old londoner adapt to offer the fans more to London, making the German show, unfortunately, has become something worse: (

  • STARLIGHT EXPRESS, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, STARLIGHT EXPRESS. STARLIGHT EXPRESS........STARLIGHT EXPRESS.

  • The German production is better.

  • Maah Bro Wass in the Gerrmaan 1

  • i love the german version. xD

  • This is erm..

  • I love the way Pearl spins..Pretty..:)

  • german is better :))))

  • Hm, I saw both versions and I agree that the German one is better. They cut out some of the best scenes and characters in the English version and added lame songs like this. The German version has more bite and the audience usually rocks. Oh well, same with German or Scandinavian rock festivals that are simply the best. ;-)

  • This song is now in the German version, and some of the older material is cut. The older London show and the older German show were both better than the replacement versions.

  • @Trampadoo How German to have to say "we do things the best", if it was anywhere nearly true that would be fine, but after living in Stuttgart I can say the shows in Germany are mostly second rate compared to London or Broadway and really expensive.

  • @leebearlondonlee: I was talking about Starlight Express and not other musical productions. *rolls eyes* And about rock festivals. I have been to a couple in the UK and they all ended up with people being so pissed they fell down en masse and dozens of people fighting and trying to bash each others faces in. I very much prefer festivals in Germany and Scandinavia over this. People rock out but most can hold their liquor and there are very very few fights.

  • @leebearlondonlee: and to go with your generalisation: how English of you to have an inferiority complex and put worlds into my mouth. :)

  • Rebekah Gibbs of Casualty fame on the right there...

  • Wow, I spent a summer in England, I guess this is the cast I saw perform it. Great play, the stage in Houston is not nearly as cool as the one in London

  • Haha I saw it when I was 8 too!

  • I was 10 haha

  • i think that both versions are great!

some parts of the english version are better than in the german show and some parts of the german show are batter than the english ones!

  • Who is the first original Rusty? Was it Kristofer?

  • The original Rusty was Ray Shell in 1984. James Gillan was the first Rusty on the UK tour.

  • Well who was the Rusty after Ray in London?

  • The second Rusty was Koffi Missah.
