I Saw him a few years ago at fhe Kerrville Folk Fest, out of my seeing many artist at the Kerrfest for several years, he and Jack Williams are my two favorite performers at the festivals. They both are also very nice to answer questions and talk to.

This is a terrific song froma terrific storyteller / songwriter. Another favorite is "You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive." Darrell Scott is a wonderful real time songwriter singer, the likes of which I haven't heard in years. Thanks for posting!

Saw Darrel and Band of Joy two nights ago. Their version of "A Satisifed Mind" makes you cry when you hear what five voices can do together. He is an incredible talent on guitar, banjo and mandolin. What amazes me most about Darrell's performances is how each time is significantly different. I saw him this past weekend in Fort Worth, and each song was different from the recordings on youtube. Truly one of our generations greatest musical talents. Raw and refined in the same package.
