just randomly doing the voice does work pretty well.

Actually, thats what I do when I have to call customers at work.

Imagine L telling you that your pictures are ready and can be picked up at your convenience...

I thought the point was to -not- imitate... That's my issue. I want to sound like him - subconsciously, because I know what he -should- sound like. I can imitate - making him not sound like that is the trick.

Also, I hope to get in a better audition at some point - I'm just in a crunch for time right now.

Also, trying not to imitate his voice is difficult. ^^;
