@The17zeldafan sometimes it appears after you install Realtek HD Audio Manager, so just search that in Google and install it but in some cases some sound cards don't have that option so you might be out of luck.

Hi zigibogido! Thank you for the hint, I've been looking for a solution to this 'problem' for a long time, my solution was to put a minijackcable from the line output to the line in on the sound card, which works.... but you cannot monitor the result, else you get feedback.

Never thought of right clicking to see 'disabled' devices... Man oh man whoever thought of disabling devices in the first place?

thx, great video. at first the volume was a bit low but if you go to stereo mix.. properties you can increase the default record volume around 10 and put lets say 80 and problem solved, thx again

then you click on HD Audio Codecs,

then you accept the terms and conditions,

then depending on what type of computer you have you either download windows vista zip file or windows xp file,

and then you run the setup file from the zip file you just downloaded and there you go!
