What the hell's 'a British accent' (English, Welsh, Scots - ?) it sounds like an Irish accent to me (an Englishman) he was good in this film, a damned good actor but perhaps wasted in this role.
Now as Napoleon he was splendid..... The theme tune is good for this film anyone have it?
This was filmed in the Blackwater, Surrey area. The section 0:48 - 0:51 is in Eversley by the Cricket club and Chequers Pub. It was also filmed at the Hawley Hotel (situated opposite the A327/A30 junction just out of Blackwater) which has since been demolished for a housing estate.

Great days indeed; long before seat belts were compulsory. Airbags were very much in the future!
