I just went through this past week and it does suck when you thought you had a great person in you life and they feel insecure or feel they can't give you enough. this is one of my favorite episodes of LOST.
It's actually not, though it is very similar. "Distraught Desmond" is a little later on in the episode, when Jimmy Lennon hits him with the bat and he wakes up after the hatch has imploded.
