Thank you so much for your help but then i am having the same problem as ollidolli12. When it comes to clicking on the media folder to get to root folder it doesnt seem to work. Its stuck. Like you try to click on it, it doesnt respond but other things are working. Please do help, really.

It says 2.1 firmware genius....the firmware changes from updates of 2.0 to 2.1 so update to 2.1 then retry

i bricked my touch, NOTHING would happen when you press the powerbutton. Bootloader issue. i couldnt charge it, plug it in, or press any combonation of 2 buttons. apple replaced it. i now have a iPhone.
