You could add this as a scene in the sequence editor and click the "flip time" button. Its in the "Scene (F10)" tab - "Sequencer Buttons" tab - "Filter" menu. That would let you render out this whole scene without having to leave Blender. Hope that helps.

In what way is it a fake reverse video? It's a video that really does go into reverse. It goes forwards, then it goes into reverse. That does actually happen, therefore by definition it's not fake!

Though perhaps what you're trying to say that I've tried to mislead people into thinking that I've done the reverse effect within Blender fluids?

Maybe you should have read the info first, where it clearly states 'Reverse effects done in VirtualDub'.
