When fully upgraded, the 2 weapons have the same firing speed. K7 has 2 more capacity and aproximately 2.5 times faster reload time. But has 35 firepower whereas BB has 50. If you don't wanna buy the exclusive for 150.000 thats okey, you'll still have a 35 fp. But if you consider all the weapons in RE4, that money for +15 fp is the cheapest, especially when compared to TMP. It's exclusive increases the fp from 1.2 to 1.8 for 100.000. Plus, you get the BB for free, but you pay 77.700 for K7. up2u

Broken Butterfly. I love revolver magnums. Also, since magnum ammo is so rare, you need a gun that will get the most out of that ammo. The two magnum have an identical rate of fire, with the BB doing more damage and the K7 holding more ammo, with a slightly faster reload. The BB has more more burst DPS and gets more out of what little magnum ammo you have since it does more damage. The K&'s ability to hold more ammo and reload fast would only matter if the ammo was more common.

@Relex77 I mean, the ammo is just so rare that you can't really spray it. The ability to hold more ammo and reload faster would matter if you sprayed the ammo a lot...But you can't. Because the ammo is so rare you need the ability to make it go as far as it can. Also, I fully upgraded the Broken Butterfly before the fight with Krauser on Professional mode. It made the boss fight with Krauser fairly simple.

So in my opinion the Killer7 is much better thanks to how cheep it is for it's stats.The BB is just too expensive for it's stats.Still the BB is released long before the killer 7 so it's used a lot more than the killer 7.The killer 7 is released only for the "it"(U3)fight,the krauser fight,and the saddler fight.So they both have there advantages and disadvantages

technically the killer 7 beats the BB in firing speed,reload speed,and capacity but the killer 7 has 35 firepower and the BB has 50 with the exclusive.However the killer 7 has no exclusive making it a very cheep weapon when fully upgraded and yet is still very strong,the BB's exclusive is 120000 so when the BB is fully upgraded including with the exclusive it makes it very expensive so it's rare that people manage to get it fully upgraded with the exclusive.

I like the Broken Butterfly because, it has exclusive and powerful. Sure it will take time to upgrade. Magnum ammo is rare so each shot has to be worth a lot. Killer7 strives in firing speed and reload. You don't need to reload that much because there is barely any ammo and you won't be firing 2 or 3 shots on a miliatant or something else. Broken Butterfly exclusive is 50 firepower, making each shot very powerful. Also, Killer7 is purchased much later in the game, so you won't need to use it.

The Killer 7 simply kicks more ass because it was DIRECTLY inspired after Arnold Schwarzenegger's .45 Long-slide in Terminator 1 (with even the Hollywood-manufactured laser-sight mounted onto it!). The game planner just loves those Terminator movies (Gatling Gun/M79 in RE2; snub-Winchester in RE3)!

@legoman2345 Only the gun's name came from "Killer 7", but everything about the gun is based directly off of the T1 AMT Hardballer, with it's one-of-a-kind hollywood-produced laser-sighting system/mount (in which both Killer 7, and RE3/RE4 homaged). My opinion: If you can fully upgrade it, BB if not and u reach island without significant upgrading, K7. Just cuz I think that if u dont wanna upgrade it completely, just take the one that's already stronger. If u DO wanna upgrade, BB is unbeatable, it looks cooler and the reload animation is AWESOME!!!!!
