Lol, quite easy actually: once the dentist starts pushing against the syringe containing the novocaine, move your head in the sae direction with a quick move so that he spills some of the dose into your mouth. Then quickly wipe your tongue across your gums right when you feel the novocaine drops in your mouth. Then - because he lost part of his measured dose, he needs to go for a refill. Repeat at will. :-D
