  • running away from those samoans would be easier to do with drew's mic

  • 4:42 Colonel Sanders made it!

  • Boy those somoans are strong people.

  • 2:26 is their a clip on you tube for that 1!

  • @wiiplayer9isback The 25th Anniversary Special aired August 23, 1996, the 5000th show was taped March 11, 1998 and aired April 9, 1998, the 6000th show aired March 1, 2004 and the 7000th show aired sometime in the 2009-2010 season.

  • April 9, 1998

  • @loaf8002 The 5000th episode of "The Price Is Right" aired that day, but it was taped on March 11, 1998 when Studio 33 was renamed the Bob Barker Studio.

  • That big women! Her arms ! Bob say's 10,000 ! OH NO ! 10,000 OH NO! LOL !!!

  • That's classic at 2:26

  • YES YES YES YES YES YES YESSSS

    bob popped a chubby

  • poor bob, being picked up by somians, no wonder he was on crutches in one of his shows in the 1980's

  • @Steventhe2nd i bet he still has nightmares about it to this day

  • salvatore...the guy at the end does look like col sanders, but it's def not him as col sanders passed away in 1980 and that clip looks to be about from 1984 (as the purple, red orange, walls are the norm here

  • So nice to see this and Janice, too. The show wasnt the same after Dian and Holly left, but really jumped the shark after Janice and Kathleen were left go.

  • @nickm1980 The show wasn't the same when CBS named Drew Carey the new host on July 23, 2007 instead of maybe picking Carol Burnett or Bob Eubanks.

  • @TheJamesgordon43 at the risk of sounding sexist, I don't think a woman could host tpir. Bob would be good but he's too old. If Ray Combs wasn't dead, he'd be a shoe-in. Doug Davidson, John O'Hurley would have been good. Todd Newton, maybe. Rich Fields would have been good too!

  • Only Bob could run away from so many women and still be sexy. xD

  • @redoctober90 Is their a video decatied to that women?!

  • This video is in perfect quality! Plus, I've been looking for this for a while!! Thanks! :)

  • am I the only one who thinks that the guy at the end looks like Colonel Sanders from KFC?

  • No, you're not. I thought the same thing!

  • I noticed that the 25th anniversary special and the 5,000th show were less than a month apart!

  • I miss Janice & Kathleen they were AWESOME!

  • Those curtains are awesome!

  • Yes I know that, but read "mitmfan"s comment...he's talking about the part of that, not the original for THIS 25th anniversary...

  • 3:12 to 3:47 is also hilarious lol

  • This happen on August 23, 1996.

  • The start of season 25 saw a change in the three big doors. The Doug Davidson version's panels were repainted for use on "The Price Is Right" in daytime because the original panels began to wear out after season 24 ended. These panels would continue to be used until the end of season 35, when the daytime show's set was overhauled.

  • he made damn sure he didn't let the black lady anywhere near him fucking asshole. that damn samoan lady was strong as hell. if any of them were me i would have threw the pussy and tits all on that old ass fossil, lol.

  • 2:26 to 2:46 hysterical lol

  • Dude is sharp here

  • poor bob.

  • Effin A! That was Colonel Sanders himself!

  • nice suit

  • @ 2:34 someone get bob a cigarette

  • haha...

    YES...YES...YES...

  • i remember the 25th

  • I remember Rod's full opening spiel before he called the contestants to come on down. "It's a Special! It's VERY Special! It's Very, VERY Special! It's 'The Price is Right 25th Anniversary Special!" I also like Bob's opening whisper. But I would've had him say: "Oh, hi. You're just in time for 'TPiR 25th Anniversary Special.' Get comfortable, everybody. You're in for a real treat tonight."

  • What was the original air date for the contestant seen from 4:02 to 4:35?

  • I'm not really sure of the original air date, but it seems like either 1980 or 1981, I'm guessing....

  • I love it when Bob strolls out those doors.

  • I miss Bob so much. Why did he have to retire?

  • As of now (9/3/07), Bob is 83, which is 18 years older than the usual retirement age. As HE would occasionally ask, "Is it any wonder to you why I have white hair?

  • And he turns 84 on December 12, 2007...he didn't necessarily retire so he wouldn't die from the Showcase Showdown...he's aging, that's all...and did you know that Bob did want to retire earlier, but the reason he kept going was he just had too much fun!!! :D

  • For being 73 or 74 back then on that special he looked very young for that age.

  • So that he wouldn't die at the Showcase Showdown.

  • so they did use silver for the back of the audience again!

  • janice.......i miss her.

  • I miss dian after seeing her in playboy wow!!!!!!!

  • when the big samoan picks bob up, whats that red panel in the turntable for? seems strange.

  • Even Col. Sanders had to lift Bob up!

  • Somoans are cool!! ;) They're freindly people it appears. ;-)

  • I Love The Look On Bob's Face When Van Starts Hugging Him

  • samoan women are strong lmao

  • did u actually record this in 1996?

  • LOL Bob's afraid of big black chicks

  • cause he knows they'll kill him

  • the little woman in red was humping him. lol ..

  • one day bob will come through the big doors dancing

    with the theme song.

  • lol the little woman in the red is the funniest

  • The lady in the red was named Van. She appeared on the show on 6/3/92. When she won her game, Bob ran behind the prop to hide from her!

  • The blonde girl wearing the blue at the opening titles is my distant cousin or something like that. I didn't find that out till a few weeks after this special. I've never met her though. She won a 3 cars (one was a Corvette), a trip to Hawaii, and the Showcase. Anyway that's my trivia for the show. :)

  • Bob said "Yes!" like he was getting raped, lol! Long live Barker!

  • Well, it kinda looks like she's raping him.

  • He needs some of those jerry springer body guards to knock em over with a battering ram.

  • Real men don't need security. :-)

  • why is bob still liveing

  • the excitement from the fans keeps him alive

  • hellllllllllllllllllll!!!! yes

  • How much for a copy of this show??? I will pay shipping and handling and all!

  • 1000,000,000

  • i remember i was going to timer-record this show and it bunged up on me. I was so sad I missed it.

  • That first contestant attacking Bob is wearing what has to be the ugliest outfit I've ever seen. A paisley blouse with polka-dotted stretch pants?!? What the hell?

  • Hey, things change over time.
