  • LOL! 1:17

  • These guys are still great, top 5 selling Canadian band of all time. Saw them a couple of times live, ear splitting great performance. Wonder how the hell they kept their hearing. Named my daughter Janine after a song of theirs...

...There's a million stories in the naked dominion

    Coast to coast

The real Canadians, the real Canadians, the real Canadians ...

  • You say Lady Gaga, I say Led Zeppelin

You say Hannah Montana, I say Beatles

You say Owl city, I say Deep Purple

You say Jonas Brothers, I say The Rolling Stones

You say Justin Bieber, i say Queen

You say Taylor Swift, i say Guns & Roses

95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop songs over and over. if your one of the 5% left who still listen to real music, thunb this up, then copy and paste it to least 5 video's. DONT LET THE SPIRIT OF ROCK&ROLL DIE!

  • I saw Trooper opening for Styx in Montreal in 1978. I thought they were better than Styx at the time. I now LOVE Styx and see them every year. Being from the States, I never heard from Trooper again after my year in Montreal. I heard this song out of the blue today and it brought back memories of a great concert and some really fun music. It's funny how some bands are huge in Canada and don't make it in the States. Supertramp was huge in Canada but didn't break through in US until B in A.

  • @GOPPUFFDADDY Yeah Supertramp and Trooper were both good Canadian bands. Check out Prism and April Wine too!

  • @poketfulashelz supertramp is not even remotely Canadian.

  • @Sandaman4 Haha you caught me I realize that didn't make sense. Meant to agree and say they were more popular in Canada than the US before Breakfast in America but yeah they're a UK band.

  • @poketfulashelz its all good

  • 134 people are honking at all the girls.

  • Will you look at that! Ra actually has HAIR! I've never seen archival footage like this before. Of course when my wife goes out with her friend, it's the GIRLS in the bright white sports car but this was ranked among the Globe and Mail's top ten Canadian car tunes.

  • Thumbs up who thinks the 80's music is much better than today's crap!!!

  • whoooooohoooooooooooo!

  • Jack of all trades, Stan and Jerry, the garbage man !

  • a better case for abolishing "cancon" regulations could never be made

  • I have this on a 45. Still like it

  • think them boys got away from the cops?if they were smart and held er to the floor, they sures hell would have!

  • You just got to love it

  • I remember being sixteen, which was 1979 and driving around the last day of highshcool in a big white convertible with all the girls singing this over and over again but we changed the words to "The Girls in the Bright White Sports Car" and you can't buy a memory like that JACK and that's a FACT.

  • YEEEEAAAHHHH!!! This song is still sung at the top of our lungs even now in the car!!!!

  • I had a white 325iS and this was the perfect song for it.

  • When I get ticketed speeding its when I have this song cranked.

  • saw them it was so cool. those were the days :)

  • Go Trooper! :D

  • Ra is the SH**!!! Awesome...wish I was there...

  • I want the sign!

  • Did some mad driving to this tune. However I was a girl in a black sports car...........Dads` 280zx.........WOW

  • hahaha nice

  • HAHAHA, GO GIRL! Me too, only I got an ''Excessive speed'' ticket of 618 CAN$+7 days licence suspension+10 demerit points on my record (2 points left, cause I wasted 3 points before for the same speeding reason)!

I'm doomed in my BLACK Sport's car!

  • I have always agreed that I was speeding when approached about the infraction and actuallly once got off without a ticket at all because I stumped the officer with my reply. He said" You were going a litttle fast" my response was " No officer, I was going ALOT fast" He laughed and told me to slow down and let me off with that advice. I think he wass laughing too much to be able to write a ticket. I have more examples to share at a later time.

  • @jojocomment

I hear you! I got pulled over one night in my 72 Charger, the officer said a "Harsh gear change" caught his attention, luckily for me he didn't get a radar reading, as I was going ALOT too fast also!!! :))

The situation would be a lot worse nowadays, especially since the car has gone from 230hp to over 500 now :))

Awesome song, just WATCH your gas pedal foot folks when playing it in your car!!! :))

  • Ra Mcguire has a great voice
