@asimgeekhan If you want a low cost solution for multi-tracking drums its great . The preamps aren't anything special, but get the job done with decent enough mics. The master volume has an endless pot which can be annoying, I've nearly blown monitors playing back at FULL volume without knowing! I would take a look at the MOTU 8Pre as an alternative, better preamps and more stable.

@andrewsmithify Snare: SM57, Kick: AKG D112, Overheads: Behringer C-2's. All run into an Alesis io26, mixing done in Logic.
