I don´t really know if they simulated or not. But sometimes, smiling means not to be happy. Laughing neither. Sometimes for your body or for yourself it´s easier than start crying. Sometimes you´re tired of crying. Or all your face is like forced / clenched to not start crying... Did it occur to you that the Jackson Family's hatred of Diana (it couldn't have helped that MJ wanted DR to take care of his children if his mother were unable to) was one reason she might not have wanted to attend?
