why would they create genetically modified foods that dont have as much product, in this case like half the apple is missing on the inside. i call bullshit, its genetically downgraded
@DarklingX Hi There. Any ideas that come our way need to be evaluated with intellectual rigour. Although you say the UCS are politically motivated, it is the quality of their arguments that count. Also the scientists employed by the bio-tech industary are not going to be neutral either. And in the states there is also a revolving door between the bio- tech industry and the FDDA. that regulates it.So that too is not a safe source of info. Re sceptoid, I will check their arguments with rigour.
I'm glad Germany and other countries banned GMO shit; why can't the United States ban GMO shit? America is a very stubborn country. GMO foods are gradually killing people, and Monsanto is primarily responsible for that shit.
see how a little piece of apple separates just when he cuts it? may it happen with only only one cut? have you seen any more cuts? could he have cut the apple before? could he have carved it?
in truth genetic engineering has existed as far back as we have been breeding animals to eat or hunt for us the only difference is now we can just inject new dna we want into something instead of cross breeding breeding back and all those other things, we have genetically engineered everything we eat today unless its grown in the wild.
P.s. even organic food is genetically modified its just not sprayed with pesticides
Also I do love your carving on the apple it looks wonderful
@IchigoMashimaroChan Rubish. There is a world of difference between cross breading within a species, and combining genes from different species. Also Organic Food bans the use of GM. What mis information you do give. Are you paid by Monstanto by any chance ?
@ironjohnlad No that's just my opinion on the matter, I'm not an expert on this I just simply stated my opinion of things as I see them. I just happen to feel that there's no difference between them the foods still eatable, its not like they combine the whole two DNA strands together, only bits and pieces for the desired effect. But hey we're all entitled to our opinion and that's just mine and you can have yours.
@IchigoMashimaroChan Whether Organic standards allow GM is not a matter of opinion but a matter of fact. ALso transfering a gene to a plant or animal toproduce a desired effect, can also have unintended consequences, as genes do not operate in isolation. Also gentic material can also transfere ( for example) to bactiria in the Gut. This happened with GM soya was tested on humans. This can produce new deseases. Goggle Union of Concerned Scientits for more info.
@ironjohnlad I didn't say that it was a matter of opinion if organic standards allow genetic modifications I said its my opinion that genetic modification isn't necessarily a bad thing, and of course there's consequences, there's consequences to everything and fyi if your trying to make a valid argument at least check your spelling.
@IchigoMashimaroChan I am dyslexic, and if you think poor spelling invaluidates my argument, then shame on you.You said organic allows GM. You were wrong. You said GM has been done for 1000's of years. This is not true. You now say it is not necessariy a bad thing. Well at least this is a shift from your origianl view. Maybe your opinion woul be better informed if you goggled information from the Union of Concerned Scientists, rather than listening to Monsanto Jupes.
@ironjohnlad Computers have an option for spelling errors within the web browser like mine does I'm not perfect at spelling or grammar but I do make an effort, but lets just get somethings straight here. I know I said organic allows GM that was something I didn't know about I just thought they didn't use pesticides and although I didn't state it I recognized that it was just something based off an assumption.
@ironjohnlad I know I said GM has been used for 1000's of years and what I mean is humans have changed the structure of plants and animals to benefit themselves, it may not be the GM of today but in MY opinion it was still a form of genetic modification even if the people didn't know what genetics were. Anyway all of my arguments Ive made are mostly based off of my opinions even if I didn't state so. Also I don't listen to Monsanto Ive never even heard of them before you told me.
he he.....using pure common sense alone I know that its fake because no company is dumb enough to genetic engineered an apple that is so revolting looking. Nice effect though

IG Farben was a conglomaration of 3 German Chemical companies that runned the Concentration camps in Poland during the second world war. their trick are patents, copying mother nature and selling it to us, don't trust anyone who tells you that vitamins are bad. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!! TRUST ME!

Na de kiwi en de appel mag een genetisch gemodificeerde banaan niet ontbreken in de collectie. Welke bizarre en perverse suggestie dit oproept in uw hersenpan is 100% uw verantwoordelijkheid.
