I just left that website. It's pretty cool! Thanks for sharing it. It takes some time to figure it out, but I ran a "quickie rundown" of yesterday in there & according to them, Im taking in less calories than I even thought I was! :o) ... I alternate activities, so between my cardio days and strength days, I should be losing between 2.3 & 4.2 lbs per week. I'll check it out in more detail on the weekend. Thanks PG
On the "foods in the Bible" subject. Years ago I got a book called, "The Makers Diet", then never used it. ಠ_ಠ ... Recently I browsed through it and found that what Im already doing, is pretty much what it says to do. So, I guess you can say my eating lifestyle is Holy Spirit lead lol ... Isnt it GREAT when you reach the point where eating good & exercising is just a natural part of your life? Natural foods make you feel good too! Nix the artificial ingredients people!
That looks like a cool website! I'm going to have to look into it this weekend. I think there is going to be days when it might tell me, "that last 2 lbs was totally a gift from God! Now get back on that rower & do it like you mean it!" hehehe I eat based on the nutrients I need at that time of day, not calories or desire now. Food is a tool not a pleasure.
Same here, but NO restaurant food, NO artificial ingredients (boxed-packaged foods), & I've never been much of a soft drink person to begin with. I've lost 52 lbs since mid April, and its almost been too easy. Congradulations and great job! God bless!
You look great Pastor G!!! What an incredible testimony. I totally agree with you about the calories...taking in less calories. That's why intermittent fasting works for me, it's a no brainer way to cut calories, lol.
Same here! I can't COUNT how many times I've busted my butt to accomplish something that God didnt have in store for me ... then when I felt like I had a low-energy day & need to make up for it, I step on the scale to find Ive lost 2lbs in a day and go =-O! Everything goes better when I listen to HIM, and do what he shows me. Oh! and I love you right back girly! :o)
I have to admit your common sense no bull approach made me think about some of what was going on here on youtube for diet plans.
I realize there are others who use interesting methods and they do work,, but I needed something that allowed me to live with others and eat with them also.
Youre so right bro! I couldnt eat the way I eat now until after I lived alone. When you buy and cook for others, you cant make everybody eat this way, and its too expensive to buy both "lifestyles" of food. You've done a great job too. I hardly recognize you sometimes.
Jerome, a month after you stop eating out, & eating precooked-prepackaged-dehydrated type of meals, you wont believe how different you'll feel. I dont even have a desire to "do Thanksgiving" ... my body is saying, "gravy? whats that for?" lol You can do it, you really can.
you are doing so great...I am at the weight you started...I have lost 62 pounds, and I want to get down to about 220. PLEASE pray as I have landed on a hill and right now I am not going no where for I guess the reason I need to walk more and eat less.
Don't think of it as "eating less" That always aids in making people fail. Think of it this way, compare WHAT you eat. Example: do I want two Nutty Buddy sticks at a gazillion calories? or could I be satisfied with the equal caloric mountain of broccoli? ... You can actually eat MORE if you're eating WELL. (and I will pray for you also)
Just think of a life where you get no hunger. Nothing looks good. Trade my hunger center for yours? No. I have a brain injury, silly.
So all you dieters.....chew each mouthful with delight and great spendor that you can eat and enjoy eating.
Then dance. What if dancing made you so sick you threw up on the floor? Move that body...those muscles..and breathe the morning air for me.
Used to swim 1000 meters/day, 3-6 days/week, used to run. Play racquetball. Dance. No more.
You do it. Enjoy all.

My scale was a talking one and it used to say "ouch get off me." Now though I have lost 62 lbs doing exactly what you said.
I make healthy food choices and got active. Very little fat in the diet, NO soft drinks, very little restaurant food or healthy choices there as well.
Good job Pastor George
