This is my "dream" ever ! Period ! I'm into tanks since I'm 6 ... and I'm 46. I ended up in the Air Force ... tell me why. I hitch-hiked through the US to visit Aberdeen PG at 18. I almost got killed in excitement stepping on the wrong side of the train at the Bovington camp station. I worked a whole summer to afford the Chamberlain books. And until today, I've never got so close to a 60 years old machine in action, like this one. If you ever make it DVD quality, I'll buy it from you. Kuddos!
can anyone tell me if the sherman with the 105mm cannon was ever used in action. i dont just meen the sherman that they are sitting on, but just the 105mm model. aweson vid.
Yes, that was a Leopard 1A5 (last upgrade of the Leopard 1) from The belgian Army.The Leopard who is passing after is the same tank. Belgian Army don't have Leopards 2 (too expensive for belgium who is a small country with a small defense budget). All tanks of the Belgian Army (Leopard,AIFV, M113,M108,M109,CVRT,etc...) will be replaced by armoured vehicle on wheels. That's the "genial" idea of our secretary of defence!!!
