Ha Ha you sound so adorable when your proud of yourself near the end! Try using peacock feathers and diamonte hair accessories too, Ive got a GORGEOUS one
I've actually tried this before, and yea a bobby pin works just as well with out all the extra.....but yea i guess great minds think alike lol. I love hair accesories lol
OH and cutting the ends of the ribbon on an angle actually helps the ribbon.. not fray as easily.. lol sorry don't know how to word it... and yeah, like someone said below, you could also use a lighter to melt the ends so that they don't fray either :)
Oh dear, the hot glue gun is too much trouble! Please get yourself a pack of hair pins with the nubby things on the end.. Save your fingertips! lol...I am inspired to get crafty now thanks to you!
Cute Girly, but all you had to do was throw a hair pin up in there...get a whole pack at the beauty supply for 99cents. There is liquid no fray you can put across the raw edges of the ribbon end. And for XTRA bling, get some E3000 glue and glue on crystals or rhinestones to add xtra Shazzam to your bow! Get it all @ Walmart easy! Great post! Also Xmas ornaments are 50% off @ the 99cent only store! Throw some crystals on those too! LOl.. I am such a thrifty diva!
Yes a ciggarete lighter, just dont get so near the fabric (1mm)and the heat (not the fire) will "melt" the ends, but dont do this for a long time (less than a second)and the thread will stay where it is and your bow will be save!
that is such a cute bow lauren! you can definitely use the bow (maybe in a different color) for like those retro looks or babydoll looks...really cool!! :D
I totally agree. it would also look cute on a basic pony tail, or chignon to dress it up for a special event. You could even hot glue some rhinestones on there and bling it out. What a great idea. I love Michaels too.
very nice! I make hair accessories this is a little different.. love it. Please subscribe to my page and check mine out .

and i was like well...this seems a bit too young for me.
but you totally made it look classy :) ty so much

When i went to school we wore bows like that..the easiest way we did this was using a huge hair pin which is more secure.
