  • Do you make your own jewelry? You always have rare pieces. I am also interested in making my own jewels. I am trying to get inspired.

  • I've always wanted one of those. Thank you!

  • i love your snowflake earrings!

  • That is too cute!

  • OH and cutting the ends of the ribbon on an angle actually helps the ribbon.. not fray as easily.. lol sorry don't know how to word it... and yeah, like someone said below, you could also use a lighter to melt the ends so that they don't fray either :)

  • ".. but i really needed to have it."

    haha so funny!

love the black bow.. now i want to make one! =( need to go buy some black ribbon though..

  • Adorable!

  • omg you have snow flakes too!!!!!! Thats just too cute....I absolutely love the bow.VERY creative!

  • Oh dear, the hot glue gun is too much trouble! Please get yourself a pack of hair pins with the nubby things on the end.. Save your fingertips! lol...I am inspired to get crafty now thanks to you!

  • Cute Girly, but all you had to do was throw a hair pin up in there...get a whole pack at the beauty supply for 99cents. There is liquid no fray you can put across the raw edges of the ribbon end. And for XTRA bling, get some E3000 glue and glue on crystals or rhinestones to add xtra Shazzam to your bow! Get it all @ Walmart easy! Great post! Also Xmas ornaments are 50% off @ the 99cent only store! Throw some crystals on those too! LOl.. I am such a thrifty diva!

  • super cute!!! gonna try this one out for sure.

  • you are adorable!!

  • Merry Christmas Girl!! I saw that ad too and it was way cute. Great job!!!

  • I love this idea to!!! just a suggest, use a lighter for the ends of your bow, just a little bit, than it will not become frayed!!

    thank you for this tutorial!!

  • a lighter?? like a ciggarete lighter?? wuldnt that burn it? do u mean like the ENDS? so u dnt get all that thread from the corners...?

  • Yes a ciggarete lighter, just dont get so near the fabric (1mm)and the heat (not the fire) will "melt" the ends, but dont do this for a long time (less than a second)and the thread will stay where it is and your bow will be save!

    hope it was useful!

    thanks

  • thats totally cute!

  • i love this on you! its fabulous!!

  • Wonderful tutorial! Thanks Girl!

  • I think I would prefer mine to be hot glued to a snap barrette...

  • Very Cute!...I cant wait untill I start making mine!!

  • that is such a cute bow lauren! you can definitely use the bow (maybe in a different color) for like those retro looks or babydoll looks...really cool!! :D

  • I totally agree. it would also look cute on a basic pony tail, or chignon to dress it up for a special event. You could even hot glue some rhinestones on there and bling it out. What a great idea. I love Michaels too.

  • i'm gonna go get some of that ribbon to make me a new headband! great videos!

  • i FREAKIN LOVE MICHAEL'S

if your all artsy and craftsy you will love that store aswell!

its weird cause ive been thinking about bows in the hair (elementary or jr high days)

and i was like well...this seems a bit too young for me.

but you totally made it look classy :) ty so much

  • When i went to school we wore bows like that..the easiest way we did this was using a huge hair pin which is more secure.

  • Very cute! Im a Bow girl myself. So creative. Thanks girly..
