Some religions already celebrate their "god" through easter, christmas, Hannikah, etc. What more do they want? Control? That is pretty much it, control. As for money well, churches ask for "donations" as they put it and before long some priest have expensive houses and cars while their flock donate most of their money blindly are out there hungry.

Easter, Christmas are rituals. Faith is different.

Of course family is important, tubilist, numerous parents put extra effort to do what they can to provide for their family. But your twisting it around to create a comforting arguement.

To define nuclear family pyschologically is not just by having a mother, father sister and brother or a combination of sister, sister, brother and brother, depending on the number of siblings. Its pretty much the bonding between one person to another. There are cases where the grandchild mistakes his or her grandmother as his or her biological parent because of the bonding from the point the grandparent began to look after the child. Savvy?

In a family, I include the 3 generations of the same blood lineage. That is the ideal family situation. Yes children need grand parents.

Adoption agencies are being shut down right now. Their religious rights are being violated here in the United States because they cannot as part of their deep beliefs put children in gay household.

Gay activits could not care less. We are becoming a country under the state religion of homosexuality. Everything our forefather tried to prevent.

The problem with those adoption agencies that were shut down so far had being on the terms of prejudice against a group because of their deep religeous beliefs. I understand that there are some requesition and policies in order to adopt but using the terms of "a male and female, not adam and steve" is just an excuse to reject and deprive a couple from adopting. There are countless children waiting to be adopted and couples who wish to adopt a child but they are being deprive of that joy.

Most of the times, mixing business with faith can be a bad idea due to limiting itself by only allowing certain folks in through a filter. And waiting for christian couples to adopt is just predujist in one part and illusionary on the other thus lengthenning the waiting list of children. In short it looks like this adoption agencies care more about faith than the joy of the children. Savvy?

I understand your point of view, tubilist, but not everyone shares the same faith or religeous background here in the states. As a matter of fact there are many that have either different religeous beliefs or none. That is one of the beauties of freedom; to choose a religion or not. That is one part our forefathers fought hard for, so their children and grand children had the freedom they couldn't obtain in their time.

Homosexuality is a belief system in direct contradiction to all the main religions who believe that God created man and woman to become one.

Homosexuality disagree with this fundamental belief. The whole Bible and the Judeo Christian faith for instance is based on this core value.

The homosexual bible believe the opposite.

There are other agencies where people can go to beside religious agencies

American pionneers came here for religious freedom. Some of these agencies like the catholicagency were some of the oldest in the country with a lot of experience.

Catholic charities alone take care of over 25 % of people dying of aids. They do not discriminate

True there are other agencies besides the one run by the catholic church, yet the question is, will those agencies give couples the chance to adopt children or will they put their faith infront first? And I agree with you with the fact that our forefathers wanted religeous freedom. They didn't want the church or its members to harrast them as those self-claim christians are doing to every other group that are outside their congregation. That is what is bothering everyone and putting them edge.

There are two very different issues in this video based on one exemple. One is the issue of adoption of children with great needs. The second issue is same sex "marriages". statistics from Europeans countries where homosexual marriages have existed since the 90s show that only 5% of gays get married. The divorce rate for homosexual men is 50% higher that the already high rate of traditionnal natural marriage. For lesbians,it is over 200% higher. A child needs a father and a mother's love.

And kids need their biological mothers and fathers but most of the kids waiting for adaption are thrown away like yesterday's garbage because of various rape cases, unplanned pregnancy from preteens, teens, pre-adults and adults, or perhaps because the parents can't affor to give the child what he or she may need, that giving their child to adaption may be the only solution, etc.
