@Bfarrington17 yes you can touch them. i kill the almost daily and they dont harm you. just make sure you have no cuts and you dont eat before washing your hands

Do you know if squirrels can be killed by airsoft weapons? Since weapons in my country are illegal, those are the only hunting tools i have. If they can, how much fps do you believe is needed for a kill without the squirrel suffering?

squirrels are very fragile pelet guns would be better but if you aim for the soft parts of the squirrel you could kill it with airsoft as long as its atleast 350 fps or higher maby even lower then that actually

@love1to1fish pinch some skin on the belly or back, cut a slit in the pinched skin, and peel off all of the skin. Cut the legs, head, and tail off. Then gut em. Its a fairly simple process and doesnt take too long. But be sure to wash em good, and if you used a .410, try to get the BB's out, cause it hurts something awful to bite down on one. lol

the 22 mag has torn up a few, I Try to aim in the shoulders,no much meat there any ways.The ammo i use is CCI Maxi-Mag,40 grian,1875 FPS,I like it for long range stuff

@pk066392 Now here's an idea. How about a standard power .22 catridge in the .22 Magnum configuration for lever action & bolt action rifles? (& Revolvers too!) It would be the same size as a .22 magnum but with less fps, more like a standard .22 cartridge. You hear me CCI? There may be just this sort of cartridge out there already, & if there is it would make the .22 Magnum gun more rounded--for shootin' squirrels and smaller more delicate critters. Save ya some meat
