  • you car is shifting too soon u cant put a tune or somthing that will help ur rpm??????

  • thats pretty quick for just basic mods plus a cam, if you had locked up the tires i could see 5.8 easy

  • ne reason y its shifting so soon? PCM upgrade put u shiftin into redline even with the performance shift turn on thats standard on GTP's makes the car shift at a higher rpm..just wonderin bc it shifts at 5500rpm roughly n 5500rpm is when my car is hittin full boost n shifts at 6250rpm approx.. car looks nice n sounds great

  • @Promaster2525 I'm not sure why it shifts so soon with the performance shift on. I've recently had a problem with the boost gauge, it only goes up half way when floored...maybe the two problems are connected?

  • @Promaster2525 5800prm is the stock shift point. 6250 sounds really high unless you have some valve train upgrades.

  • @JoRoW99 ud find roughly full mod list in my vids...shift points r 1st-2nd 6250rpm 2nd-3rd 6036rpm 3rd-4th 6042rpm...proof..scanned and saved on this comp using HP tuners VCM suite and scanner pro. working on full tranny retune, air/fuel, fuel trims, and all those other pain in the ass things to tune..end of month tuning will b done. valave train mods r 1:9:1 modified roller rockers and 105lb crow cam valve springs. custom shift kit.

  • @Promaster2525 hes got a cam installed that the rest of the valve train cant handle at rpms past 5500 so its tuned to shift that way most likely

  • @killdac actually, no it's not. no gtp tune is skimpy with shifting in the 5's. standard shift tune ups trans pressure and sets the shift points to 6.2-6.4k

  • @Promaster2525 maybe the problem is that its an automatic and he neutral dropped it ha. nah im just kidding. but for real neutral drops are a good way to FUCK ur tranny. but much respect for this car dude. my brother used to have one. CRAZY car for an auto and the pricetag. ive got a cobalt ss supercharged and will NEVER drive a naturally aspirated car again ha.

  • @KiKaL8 he didnt nuetral drop its supercharged and he brake tourqued it to build boost before taking off one of the perks to having an auto tranny as oppossed to manual without a 2 step set up

    I'm not sure what model it is.  The previous owner had it installed. It's a pretty mild upgrade.
