Although I'm a United fan I have to admit Goodison Park is a proper good old fashioned atmospheric ground. We need more stadiums like Goodison Park in this country, we are losing all the historic grounds for these soul less arena's like Wembley and the Emirates Stadium. Great atmosphere there.

Stamford Bridge was built in 1876-77 and Bramall Lane probably being the first, opening in 1855 (although it did have cricket matches until 1977). And I believe Liverpool have more total league points than Everton.

@5amo I'm pretty sure Goodison opened in 1892 (so did St. James') and Anfield in 1884. Stamford Bridge was built in 1876-77 and Bramall Lane probably being the first, opening in 1855 (although it did have cricket matches until 1977). And I believe Liverpool have more total league points than Everton.

@DJxBash Goodison was the first purpose built football stadia in the world, Anfield was nothing more then pitch on stanley park when Everton fc split into everton and liverpool, Everton then built and moved into Goodison Park hence it being the first purpose build football stadium. Everton also hold the record of most seasons in the english top flight football.

The last time Villa won the league was the early 1980s.. A decade were we still achieved more than you. With two leagues, an Fa cup and a European cup winners cup. Also dont foreget that the two times Everton won the league in the 80s English clubs were banned from europe. The Year before the ban though.. Everton easily won the Cup winners Cup. Everton have also been in the topflight longer than any other club.

Everton have won 2 more league titles than Villa, id hardly call that 'far more'. We have won more FA Cups, League Cups and have won the European Cup. Notts Forest aren't bigger than Villa but I'd say they are bigger than Everton. Plus Villa are way above Everton in the all time Premier League table, have higher attendances than Everton this season, will finish above Everton this season and Villa's fans dont have to sit on shitty wooden seats with pillars blocking their view... I REST MY CASE!

In 1970 Aston villa were Relegated to the 3rd division.. A division Everton have never been in. In 1987.. the last time Everton won the league, the same season Aston Villa were relegated to the second division.. A division everton havent been in for over 50 years. Villa have only won one league in the last Century and havent won the fa cup for 50 years. In the last 50 years Everton have been better than Villa in every decade Bar the 90s.

notts forest bigger than everton hahahahahahahahah lol ,hey i was there when they come up in 77 beat us 3-1 ,and won the league that year , think we were 3rd or 4th, and forest had a few good years , thats it , everyone knows everton had a fantastic chance of the european cup ,but for the ban, a year or so in the 30s and a few in the 50s, weve been in the top flight longer than anyone, 9 titles 5 fa cups ,countless semifinals, european cup winners cup, better players ,far superior to villa
