  • I'm at Tynecastle High School in Edinburgh, planning to do World Challenge 2012, it's between Tanzania, Argentina, South Africa, would you say all the time and effort you put into fund-raising is worth it all? Please reply :), Thanks!

i'd say that it probably depends on how organised your group is. when we were over there, we met this other group from Kent who weren't allowed to go to Zanzibar for their R&R because they were really bad at organising everything.

For me, the fundraising was definitely worth it. mind you, most of us are still in debt to our parents who had to fork out the final £1000 because we couldnt make enough ourselves. but all the fundraising activities are also a great way to bond :)

  • also, if you go straight to my other video, part 7, you'll see exactly where our fundraised money got us :)

when you arrive in the country, world challenge gives you hundreds and hundreds of pound as day-to-day spending money, so the extra money you raise is for the luxury at the end.
