  • I wish this video was up 4 years ago. You are a brilliant young boy, and seeing this makes me hope my son with PDD NOS will be as wonderfully insightful as you someday. thank you for sharing ;)

  • always stay yourself, because you re cool

  • Are you sure this kid is PDD-NOS or just gifted? I'd love to know what his IQ is!

  • he has the exact same interests as my 10 yr old who has pddnos he loves skeletons and grim reaper and zombies but the funny thing is if we go to a haunted house he is petrified lol great kid you have there also my son loves computer and video games

  • Hi Jake. I really liked your video and am glad to know you like zombies, it's actually one of my favorite monsters to watch in movies. I have a son whose 3 years old with PDD-NOS and I love him more than anything in the world. His name is Christian. Do you think you could tell me some thing that you like to do with your family so he can have more fun with me? I hope my son can be just as nice as you when he grows up. Thank you Jake.

  • @SamanthaVernaza87 Jake here to say all people are different in their own ways. But I will tell you what I like to do if you think it would be helpful to your child having fun. I like playing games, examples like tennis, or video games, I like writing stories, also I like interacting or being included with anything like, making friends with new people, being included in playing with others... And making participation to the world. (be careful, if we are the same, he'll be angry at age of 5-6 ;P)

  • Message from REDEMPTION: Is a Zombie Jakes favorite monster? Because that's also my favorite monster. And has he aver seen any zombie movie before?

  • @mac19971 I have seen ALOT of zombie movies such as diary of the dead, zombieland, resident evil 1, 2, and extinction.... And alot more. and yes, Zombies are awesome.

  • @deadcatguy Message from REDEMPTION: Wow cool. Saw all of those except Diary. Was he able to see all of those, and not get offended by gore or adult content? If he was able to sit through any of that you should show Him Romero's 2005 flick Land of the Dead. It is a zombie movie unlike anything you have seen before. It's a bit similar to Zombieland, except everything is serious and alot more DARKER. And I should Warn you, the movie is full of pervasive brief suggestive gore.

  • @deadcatguy But overall Land of the Dead has a pretty good story, also heart-racing and a fun ride, full of action adventure, little bit of humor, and plenty of gore, oops.. Did I just say that? Lol. So anyways just ask a parent if in interest. Savvy? I forgot to say that there are pretty good lead actors in the film such as Simon Baker, and John Leiguzano. Didn't have time to check spelling. And sorry if Im kind of a chatter box, it happens to me alot lol.

  • Message from REDEMPTION: How old is Jake now?

  • @mac19971 My mother used my account on youtube for this video and some art.

I am 12 years old and my vocabulary is pretty high. (p.s. That video was when I had my long hair like 2 years ago. I looked chubby :P)

  • I actuley have PDD-NOS too so thats why im watching this vid I was digignosed with Asbirgers Syndrom when I was 3 but in the 6th grade I went back to my Autisom therapist and was dignosed with PDD-NOS in 6th and 7th grade people thought that I was mentley Retardid but now im in 10th grade and no one knows I have autisom

  • @MultiRhudson sorry about my wonderfull spelling

  • @MultiRhudson This is REDEMPTION speaking to you. And I am not sure how an individual with PDD-NOS will still be diagnosed with it all the way to 10th grade, I mean do ya have a doctor or something that gives you medicine to get rid of it? Because I've had PDD-NOS ever since I was a Toddler now I am 12, and I am finishing up 6th grade. And I was in a special education class, and just started in one at 6th grade. Not Pre or elementry school.

  • @mac19971 .... Medication?

  • for autism?

  • @MultiRhudson This is a follow up to my last reply to you. The special Ed class I have been in for all of 6th grade had a different variety and style of teaching the autistic medium and high. It was in some manner a bit of bossiness, being rude to them, and making them do things, including screaming in our faces. Sometimes I feel there might be a problem with these spec ed teachers, I just can't defy what it is. The school I am in is Welsh Valley MS.

  • wow - thanks - I have a 10-yr-old boy with PDD-NOS and we watched this together

  • Thank you very much for posting this video!

    Jake is an inspiration!!!

I am riding the same road with my son, who is 5 and was recently diagnosed as having PDD-NOS. It was difficult to diagnose him, because he has language and is very expressive. However, language reciprocity is not well developed, and doctors and therapists used to say it was because he is bilingual, and that by age 5 it would be resolved. Well, It didn't and now we know why.

  • What a sweet boy, if I have a child like this later I would be so proud of him!

  • I just got the results for a six hour test I took at the Neuropsychological center recently. Apparently, I have PDD NOS. I'm a junior in high school, what can i expect from the school?

  • What a nice boy he is! :)

  • Comment removed

  • Does it make you feel bad when people treat you differently

No, but I wish it made them feel bad.

    How true.

  • Excellent.

    Sawyer loves Zombies also!!!

  • Thank you for sharing this! More people need to see how gifted and truly 'normal' you and my children are. We are the ones that define what 'normal' is anyway, keep up with your writngs. I'm letting Jacob watch this with me and he unfortunately has heard the word retarted before. It is hurtful and everyone should be included in this world, no matter what race, religion, ethnicity and yes even mental abilities. Good video!

  • Excellent Video Jake. Thank you for sharing. :)
