@rhys4eva arthas came to northrend following mal'ganis(still a pally) he met muradin who was already in northrend searching for treasures, muradin brought arthas to frostmorne that was hidden in a mountain in an attempt to save their camp that was under undead seige, arthas claimed frostmorne but as he did there was an explosion that 'killed' muradin, arthas didnt become a dk till after he killed mal'ganis and wandered northrend for a long time(ner'zul controled/talked to him through frostmorne)

I think that Blizzard have truly turned the

Tables for MMORPG to themselves, Lich King has to be one of the best Expansions I have ever known. Burning Crusade chain quests couldnt beat'em, Classic Chain Quest couldnt beat em, and all raids are the best I have seen, cant wait for Cataclysm though, looks AWESOME! :D

It's not necessarily better. it's just a lot easier. Now i'm not complaining as much as I will when cataclysm comes out, because the amount of changes they are making will be much more drastic. But in any case, Wotlk is a pretty big change, especially since the new path came out.

Cataclysm - Upcoming, level cap 85..

Next 2 expansions after that can be emerald dream (Lore would include the archdruids creating a type of magical aura allowing non druids to enter because of corruption and battle going on within the dream)

Azshara (More stuff within the seas/maelstrom)

But final expansion = Sargeras obviously, level 100...

But starting with Cataclysm they should being the multi guild raids with Deathwing that'll link with guild leveling system

For me, WotLK Was the best part of the game (comparing to classic and tbc) in:

1. Zones. Much more developed, except for borean thundra.

2. Questing. Much more lore-wise, interesting, entertaining and immersive.

3. Almost everything else.

But, yes, once you reach end game;

EVERYTHING IS SO EASY.

EVERYTHING IS SO MONOTONOUS.

PVP BROKEN

PVE REPETITIVE, BORING AND EASY.

Dalaran is only beatiful seeing from above. Shattrah and Classic cities pwn its flying ass.
