  • Almost cried when he was suffering in the garden if gethsemane... Oh. Must have been so painful. :) we all must be so thankful for Jesus Christ! :)

  • What is the the name of the song their singing in 7:13?

  • ,a wonderful thing to ponder

  • Thank so much for this video!

  • @averyobrien100 - yes, it's a good one... part 1-3

  • Where can I find the song that the Apostles sing at 7:10? Beautiful

  • No man knows the pains He had to endure to fulfil the plan of salvation without it we can not work out our own salvation. Adam brought death and Christ brought life.

  • Thanks for posting this! What a beautiful tribute to the savior, his life, atonement, and resurrection. This is one of my favorite videos and having it on youtube is a brilliant idea. And for those of you who can't post anything positive about this and the LDS religion, I just feel pity for you that you don't understand the scriptures and that you can mock what is sacred to others. We espouse ALL truth no matter where it's found. Christ is the Savior of ALL mankind!

  • @artglassman

Indeed... all too often, contemporary Christians play the role of the Jews against the savior in both word and deed when it comes to their communications with those of the LDS faith. It's hard for them to see what they're doing because they do so under the guise of "defending Christ" when Christ would never do such things to another. Christ was never against anything... he was for his truth.

  • @THELDSLIFE You are correct, in that often we Latter-Day Saints are not considered Christian by the other Christian religions of the world; but just as Christ said nothing except testify of what He knew was true, I want to do my best to love those who despise me....I'm not perfect, however. Christ was mocked and spit upon, and yet He never said a word. I love His perfect example. I'm thankful for the knowledge and peace the restored gospel has granted me. Thank you for posting this video.

  • @THELDSLIFE Very well said. It has always struck me as rather ironic that many Christians today reject further light and revelation the same way the Jews in Jesus' day did.

  • HE is my Saviour, and this is my Faith! I agree w/ omiolo that "Christ is still on trial in the eyes of many". I also believe that; " As He has loved us, Love one another".

  • The association of a white race with Godly virtue is not a Christian principle.

The use of Egyptian gods as representations of GOD is not a Jewish nor Christian virtue.

  • So why are you watching this video if you are persecuting it?

Don't waste your time watching videos if you're only gonna give unorthodox comments.

  • Heavenly "Mother" does not exist in Jewish nor Christian principles.

White skin as a racial group is not a Christian principle.

Egyptians being banned from being priests is not a Christian nor Jewish principle.

  • I love this video. I saw it with the missionaries at Family Home Evening the first time.

  • The Lord has His hands in the completion of the projects, and He really did in this one," Sister Schweppe said.

  • The last Days of Jesus show us, how deep his love is for us. He saved me also from hell ad death, and that means what I say. I have felt his saving arm so strong in my life, I will never forget.

  • I feel like Christ is still on trial in the eyes of many!

  • He is. So let us judge him the way he should be, as our Savior.

  • Both Christ and his church are at trial with the world yet today. The so-called Christians are playing the part of the Jewish leaders and Christ is being played out by his followers in our day...

  • Oh really the "So Called" Christians?

And who might the "so called" Christians be?

  • @osirica

Those who are more concerned about being correct vs. being right.

The Jews were absolutely certain that Jesus Christ was guilty of heresy. They even used their limited knowledge of the scriptures having interpreted them privately to condemn Jesus when no such "rules or regulations" existed. They repeatedly were accused of "Looking beyond the Mark"

In like manner, uninspired translations of current scriptures to condemn the church which was restored by Chiist exists today.

  • So lets make sure you know what is right:

Black people skin color is a natural color came from Adam and Eve.

Lets see what your Mormon limited knowledge of scriptures have led you to:

    1. A mistaken notion that Cain was marked with black skin.

    2. A mistaken notion that black people skin color came from that mark.

    3. A need to be right by holding on to that mistake even after right minded people have clearly pointed out how false it is.

For example, the uninspired JST tried to put black in it

  • Which restored church?

    The restored church of Islam?

The restored church of the Watchtower/Jehovah Witnesses?

    The LDS Church?

The restored church of the Apostolic Pentecostal Holy Ghost church?

    The Unitarian church?

    The Fundamentalist Mormon Church?

All of you make the SAME CLAIM! And each of you are guilty of trying to be correct in proving it, even though your claims are false, they are proven fraud.

  • @osirica

    The Lord said;

And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

    Mark 2:22

    Christ already said that the restoration of truth would not come by reform. A complete restoration would be necessary at sometime;

    See Acts 3:20-25

  • The Lord also said, who gives a rock to those requesting water?

And once again I remind you to Jeremiah Chapter 20.

You're quoting scripture that does not indicate your religion is God's word, but that "whatever God's word is" will speak for itself.

Your wine is poison, not "new wine", not "old wine". It's just not wine at all. It's a cheap imitation.

  • @osirica

"The fundamental principles of our religion are the testimony of the Apostles and Prophets, concerning Jesus Christ, that he died, was buried and rose again on the third day and ascended to heaven; and all other things which pertain to our religion are only appendages of it!

    Joseph Smith Jr.

  • Those fundamental principles are not in any testimony before Joseph Smith.

Exhaltation is not in Jewish or Christian religion. Blood atonement (which you guys said was fundamental but you then renounced) was not in Christianity. Black skin and black priesthood ban was never in Jewish nor Christian priestly principles.

You're quoting what Joseph Smith said as if by the mere fact he "says it" makes it true.

Joseph Smith is one of those people trying to be correct even though he is not right.

  • If you actually do your history in the first several hundred years of history you will note that there were several groups of christians that believed in a process called theosis which is a process similar to what we call exaltation and these werent just mere crazy off sect groups. One such person who aspired to this belief is Clement of Alexandria. Now that doesn't prove it correct but shows that normal widelly recognized christian groups did believe in this.

  • Also the Levites in the Old testament were the only ones allowed to hold the priesthood then. You going to go and criticize Moses for that?

  • Also on the exaltation one look at Romans 8:16-17. We are children of God just like jesus and as such we will inherit everything he inherited speaking we are joint heirs with him. So Jesus inherited power from his father and we will receive just as much as Christ because once again we are joint heirs. So yes it is even biblical.

  • @randomreboot26 - I don't know what about the word "Heir" is hard to understand. It's also mentioned in Revelations that those who "endure to the end" will sit upon the "Throne of God" as heirs with God and Joint-Heirs with Christ. (See Revelations 1: 5-6, 3:19-21)

  • He is my Judge, not the other way around for me!
