  • This is the definition of the word sublime... I'm so glad to be taking lessons from you once more!

  • This is one of the best played Fernando Sor Study in B minor piece I have heard. Your tone is fantastic and your playing is legato and inspiring. Thank you for letting people hear classical music in a way that it should be.

  • what the hell do you do when you break a nail?

  • Great !!!

  • perfect.

  • Hi, what is your name ? and have you any CD's available ? Your playing is some of the best I have ever heard, very emotional, it floors me, incredible.

    Sonia.

  • Yes, I agree, best version I've ever heard. No rest strokes??? My teacher would kick me out of the studio. However, if I could play like you I guess he wouldn't care.

  • The greatest feel I've ever heard from anybody playing this famous student piece!!!

  • highly enjoyable interpretation, great feel

  • every note you play comes from your heart

  • Excellent, great sound quality from the mini recorder.

  • Bravo

  • i enjoyed your playing. its really good.

  • This is the most beautiful performance I have ever heard of this!

  • Ejecución inmejorable. Emocionante.

  • excellent

  • I am studying this piece now, and I have just found your version. It is one of my favourites - my other one is Julian Bream's. Both makes me feel that time has stopped. Thanks for sharing:

  • So much feel, excellent tone, great interpretation, and haunting mood! Kudos

  • Hi Kevin,

I enjoyed your version of this. It will make me look again at the parts where I come to a dead stop and then carry on. I normally play it a lot slower and find that when I up the speed, I lose in sense of music and it just becomes noise. Oh well - back to practice!

    Cheers, Bill

  • Excellent as usual Kevin! Could we get a Right hand lesson for this? I use the a and/or m finger apoyando for the melody but did I understand that you don't necessarily do the same?

    Cheers...Mark

  • Perfect!!!

    Kelvin Borrero (Brasil)

  • thank you for the kind comments. As far as rest stroke vs. free stroke, I do use rest stroke for the more dramatic parts - for example, the circle of fifths progression at bar 25 and the ending progression at bar 41. thanks again,

    Kevin

  • Very enjoyable. As far as I can tell, you're playing a free-stroke on the melody. I've tried to rest-stroke the melody and the piece then becomes rather difficult. Do you have an opinion on this? I've gone back to free-stroke myself.

  • Thank you for the music ... I like it }, your lessons are informative} Hope to see and hear more of you in the future.

  • Many many stars again !!!

  • Man!!

    that´s awesome!!

    keep the videos coming!

  • great playing Kevin!!!

  • Hi Kevin, all your videos are brilliant! Thanks for sharing.

  • Very nice. This is a study I am working on now.
