I hear what you're saying. However, whether its an "escape" or a trancendence matters not for many. Through tracendence comes escape. Ascension, at least as I know it, has nothing to do with dying or going to heaven. I dont think anyone should just think they can say "sorry" and be forgiven for harm they've caused. They need to do as much good as they've done bad in order to balance the equation that defines their energy. For some, it could take lifetimes of sainthood to balance their negtvdy.
