hi all. Im 28 years old and I never surfed in my life but I want to start
1- is it too late?
2- Can I surf just with all info at youtube ?
3- What should be the dimensions of the board and sail ( Im 180cm tall ( 5'11" ) and I have ocean with lots of windsurfers with so nice wind and I want a fast surf so which one should I choose???
1. It's never too late to learn. If you can walk, you can windsurf with proper instruction.
2. This information is just an aide. Your best chance is if you can find a real windsurfing school. Although many have learned on their own, the experience is much better and faster if you get a trained professional to teach you in person.
3. Most major sailboard manufacturers have entry level equipment that works for a wide range of sailors. A larger board and smaller sail are best to learn on.
There are several options out there, google "windsurf simulator". It's basically a lazy susan beefed up to be able to support the weight of the board and a person.
great! out of all surfing vids on youtube you're the first one to explain how to slow down thanx!

Thank you, I live in Australia and in AUstralia in the part of the place I live is perfect for windsurfing. And water is really always hot.
So which windusrf should I choose I want a fast going one?
Bigger board or bigger sail is better ? OR both should be big ??

Also, if there are a lot of windsurfers at your beach, most will be more than eager to help you choose/find equipment. Just ask.
