  • nice work !

  • nice indeed! do you have any part number of that hella actuator? i read some are working with PWM and some others with CAN, so it's either or and not both. If its the Garrett 712120 part, there's another single digit number in the middle of the plastic case. From what i gather that is the important part (1 and 2 seem to be PWM, and 3 & 4 CAN but not sure here).

  • @renizer ah, also, what voltage are you using for the PWM? It says 10V on the scope but figured i'd ask to make sure here as well. I read 12V will blow smoke?

  • @renizer Hello: I have same confusion regarding CAN & PWM Control. Can you find any information regarding CAN & PWM control for Garrett 712120 Actuator? Please post your information if you can.

    Thanks

  • Nice demo. Do you have the part number of the turbo that you are using? Did you do any modification to the turbocharger? I thought these Garrett turbo uses a CAN bus interface which is difficult to "hack" . If it only receives a simple PWM, then it will be great! Is this the REA actuator?
