The first time I saw Jane's Addiction it was Eric who absolutely blew me away! Never the same after he left. Jane's was a huge part of my youth, too bad things changed but most good things do.
Hey Eric- Thanks for not selling out and "cashing in" like your turncoat ex-bandmates in Jane's. Every Jane's song musically is about your basslines, period. Thanks for all the great music, Eric.
Ahhhh, the quiet, self-effacing soul of Jane's out on his own. Just lovely. I haven't been able to get this song out of my head for so many weeks now...
disagree with the slag on Strays, but after all these years and post-projects, it begins to become evident how important Eric Avery's ideas were to Jane's brilliance...
I think people figured it out when they heard the horror that is Strays,
Yes Eric A. wrote all the important music with Perry. Dave just sort of painted on top of what Eric created. The Bass lines are everything in Jane's. No doubt.
I like this..sounds a little like Deconstruction. It would be cool for an original Jane's reunion..if Eric and Perry could get along.....probably not :(
love this so much

I love this song to death, all 1.5 minutes of it. Why can't Eric right more stuff like this?

I am glad Jane's is reuniting (with Eric) for the NME awards show, I guess they are going to do a 3 song set and receive an award.

I never realised (until I heared Strays) that Eric was the backbone of the band. I think if he was in J.A for strays things could have been better.

But a singer he is not.

That was cool, creepy and strange all at once. Eric Avery is brilliant. I hope he does a solo record soon.
