Well, if you like your black eyebrows maybe is because they suit your hair (do them?) but mine don't and they don't look too nice because of the contrast, or that is what I think. I feel that when I have my eyebrows dark my face looks more harsh but it looks a bit sweeter with lighter eyebrows. I like them to suit my fancy dresses wigs too!
I have dark brown hair and black eyebrows and I really don't like them, it looks kinda ugly. I really want to dye my eyebrows. I have olive skin so I think I have to dye them to light brown or so. But will my eyebrows look fake of if I dye them??
@xVanessa380 You have the same problem I do. They will look fake if you lighten them too much or if you use some dye that will turn them reddish. The dye I use has that problem if you leave it on for too long, so you have to be careful with the time you leave it on while dyeing. I have found my right time is 10 minutes, give it a try to find yours, leave it for 5 minutes, check and maybe put it back a little longer, check again. You can reuse the mixture for about half an hour and still works.
@blah31063 They gradually get darker and a bit longer. I usually keep trimming then, maybe once a week or every two weeks, but I don't lighten them as they go darker, not more than two, maybe three times a year. It is funny you ask me that, today I was thinking my eyebrows need a new trim and I would like to lighten them again.
@komesee08 Hello, I live in Spain and I bought it in a drugstore, anywhere you can buy waxing products for hair removal, I guess. Also some supermarkets have it.

My brows have always been darker than my hair. When I was young my hair was golden brown and my brows were dark brown, then my hair turned dark brown & my eyebrows turned black. I lightened my dark brown hair to medium brown & have been walking around with medium brown hair & black brows. I've been afraid to lighten my brows. B/c I don't want my brows to fall out & I do NOT want light brows. I just want them to go from black to dark brown. Can I use this method & leave it on for 1 or 2 Mins?
@redenchilada Like you, I was afraid to try it. I also thought maybe a couple of minutes or five would be enough, but it isn't, I have to leave it for 10 minutes. But I am talking about my own eyebrows and about using this particular brand of facial hair bleach, maybe it works different for you and the brand you use, and dependsif you mix the two parts correctly. If you do it, check every 2 min. or so, you can always put it back again if you are not still happy with the result, it keeps working.
@Fancylooks Thanks for replying. I've actually used Jolen facial bleach to lighten the baby hairs on the back of my neck so it wouldn't look so harsh when I put my hair up. It didn't take long. I wasn't worried b/c my hair would have covered my neck if it came out orange. It came out light, more on the golden side. With my eyebrows I worry b/c they're on my face! No hiding a mistake! But I think I will try it. Thanks for your video. :)
@redenchilada You are welcome. I get a slight hint of red on my eyebrows that is not noticeable under sunlight but under some lightbulb lights it is, Anyway, is something only I notice, but I asked my friends and other people if my eyebrows look funny and everyone says they are fine.

I need to bleach my eyebrows white so I can dye them blue, need to match them with my blue hair. I don't think using make-up looks too good on me. Not even a make-up artist managed to make my brows look good. I hope it's possible to bleach brows white so there's no yellow tones.
@MissMael I am sorry I cannot help you about bleaching them white, I don't even know what colour they turn if you leave them with the bleach I use on, for longer than 15 minutes, I never tried but I guess the eyerbows would turn completely blonde, but not white. I hope you succeed getting them perfect blue. In Spain there is a famous actress who wears blue hair but she doesn't wear blue eyebrows, I think she will look much better with them

@fancyladydiane1 Since I filmed this video in February I have bleached them once more nd I was even more pleased with the results, as the colur came really natural, exactly the same as my hair's tone.
@blahblahFRANKIE I must say they don't turn orange but it may be that, depending on how the light strikes into the eyebrow hair, they may look sightly reddish, but you hardly notice it with normal light. I suppose it depends on how your own hair colour reacts to the bleach. I am glad with the results because people don't notice the difference on its own, they just notice I look better, don't realize exactly why.

@ElshaynezsOnlineGF The first time I bleached them it took me 3 days or so to get used to the effect, but I was glad to try. I lightened them for my wedding and I like how they show in the photos, I recommend getting it easy if you don't like the result right after doing this for the first time. And if you want to do it for a special event, try bleaching them at least one week before, so you get used to your new image and feel more confident about it!
@BEBED0LLx3 You think so? I do, as well, and as noone has noticed I did this, so I guess it is good because it makes me look better without any drastic change. My expresion turns softer, maybe younger, with lighter eyebrows.

@tokyorosa No, I didn't even think about it, I never got it into my eyes, but you are right, it could be frightening! Don't worry, it is not that easy to get it where you don't want it to get, it is a very think cream and it does not drip, it stays where you put it on.
When I dye the eyebrws I always feel a bit strange the first day, but usualy nobody notices it, even though the diference is quite clear, so I get happy I had done it , cause I like them light more than my natural black eyebrows.
