This is filmed in Serra da Estrela, Portugal's central region mountain range. The dome building is the observatory tower on the mountain. The bridge at the end is the 25th of April, in Lisbon. The images and the music make this quite an awesome advert that has been pulling my attention since day 1, even though I am not a Volvo fan. I wish the tourism board of Portugal would be this creative. Enfim.

In case you thought this is the Golden Gate Bridge, think again. This is the "ponte de 25 Abril" in Lisbon, Portugal. The support bars connecting the columns are in a X-pattern while the Golden Gate bridge has lateral bars.
