Nope it is not heavy. It rides very easily behind the bike. I can pull it with no problem, even with my two heaviest dogs. It is very easy to put on and off the bike.
We can get two dogs in the doggyride. We have whippets and a whippet mix. Our dogs are 20-21 inches at the withers and weight from 30-40 lbs. Both dogs can sit or lay down. One dog has more then enough room.
The dogs didn't sound too happy! I have one but my dog didn't like it and kept trying to get out. How do you get your dogs to stay in?
