I watched this for the first time last night cuz my pops said it was cool & its one of ARTIE LANGES favorite movies but I thought it was kinda lame. I guess you had to see it in the 80's & not 2010 (lol) ERIC ROBERTS & MICKY ROURKE are cool but ones on CELEBERITY REHAB & the other had a clown mask welded to his face & this scene was hilariously to me. ROBERTS was cool in BEST OF THE BEST but his acting here was bad =. he said 78 - 87 he did mad coke & he think he did a big gagger b4 this scene

He was the Ying to Rourke's Yang. He brought a comedic quality that gave the movie an added dimension to the serious subject matter, which by the way, was just his light hearted personality which came across very genuine. He was great in the movie. Irreplaceable even.
