  • I love the fact that this beautiful music matches Jeremy's beautiful acting.

  • 0:30 Joseph...you lucky bitch

  • I'm sorry, but the fact that you're substituting Shakespeare AND Pacino for an aria that's been overplayed since Will Ferrell raped it in Step Brothers is just really disgraceful. True appreciation for W.S. comes from the text.

  • Is that Bassanio kissing Antonio at 0:30?

  • @RainRavens Yes it is

  • I love this movie so much <3 Where did you get the clips?

  • Very,very,very nice video!!!excellent song!!I love this movie!!

  • con te partiro?

  • Forget any blatant Shakespeare couples or tragedies. No other play of Shakespeare's grabs my heart and wrings it like a rag the way Merchant of Venice does, or Antonio and Bassanio, especially pulled off as well as in the recent movie. X_X

    Well done.

  • Shakespeare's "Merchant of Venice" is a great play demonstrating how wicked Shylock the jew uses the legal system to kill someone.

  • noo, classic missreading. go read a book.

  • The film is historically accurate. It isn't simply lewd. Venetian prostitutes were required by law to wear their breasts exposed, as a mark of status. People knew exactly who they were. I believe they actually discuss this in the commentary, but I'm not positive.

The goat getting its throat slit is because they're in the Jewish ghetto. Slitting the throat is the kosher way to kill an animal.

  • i loooove jeremy lons

  • The two last songs for this picture were "With wand'ring steps" and "Bridal Ballad". The latter sounds in the credits. Both of magnificent quality and superb performance. D.R.

Thank you for watching music video ;-)

  • It's not from a novel originally . It's from a play

  • @dongdong777 uve made a mistake. It's not a novel but a play, William Shakespeare has never ever wrote a novel in his life, he only wrote plays, nothing else

  • incorrect. he also wrote sonnets and other poems.
