  • The platforms are the Metcalfe 'OO' card kits. They are available in grey stone (as I used) or red brick.

There have been quite a few changes to 'Egloshayle' since I posted the video, and I'm hoping to have something more extensive (and up-to-date) to show you towards the end of the year.

  • Where did you get those platforms from? thanks for the upload

  • Wonderful use of sound and lovely layout! Subbed!

  • Thank you for those kind words, John. I've done quite a lot of work on the layout since this video was made - currently I'm working on making the signals operate. Hopefully I'll be able to post an updated video later in the year.

  • that is a very nice layout. it looks like cornwall and devon in the hayday off steam

    Mike.

    from cornwall

  • Superb. Is the layout based in the modelled area?

    Andy.

    Padstow.

  • Thanks for your kind comment, Andy. No, the layout isn't based in North Cornwall - it is in deepest, darkest Birmingham!

  • I see,I thought you lived in Egloshayle as one of my locals is the Earl of St Vincent,Egloshayle and has over 100 clocks in the bar.

  • Could you tell me is the sound dcc ???? it enhances the layout which is something like the one im trying build at the moment.

  • No, I'm afraid it isn't. It was played in the background on a CD system while I was recording the video and consists of clips of real sounds recorded onto a CD.

  • Very Nice
