please can you tell me where you bought this football, my skip looks just like your dog, he is a German Spitz but black he went blind one month after we were told he had diabetes. @Nanasnutmeg Hello – We purchased the beeping football through a website called “Maxi Aids”. There is a wonderful book in the library called Living with blind dogs: a resource book and training guide for the owners of blind and low-vision dogs” by Caroline Levin. In the back of book are resources for purchasing items like the football for your doggy. Hope that helps :o)

a very sweet dog, and a good idea to put a beeping sound to his toy, however you might have overlooked that it beeps too loud " remember dogs have a very sharp and sensitive sense of hearing.

It's not that big of a deal for a dog to go blind. The dog is happy, isn't he?

Mine will go blind, she's got glaucoma. It's just a matter of time before the drugs no longer work.

What a sweet dog. He seems so happy that he is able to play fetch again. Great idea to use a beeping ball so he can find it.
