i'm asking myself how you can say something like that...
perhaps you didn't notice it touched the net? he had already started his forehand preparation and adapts in 1/2 second to make the only shot possible because he hadn't time to move. Look again at the time he had to react, it's unbelievable
@69wiwi69 He's passed his peak so he can't match the speed and power of the younger players. Federer was 2 sets up against Tsonga at Wimbledon but he lost the next 3. Sure Tsonga played well but grass is supposed to be Federer's best surface.
@fatman93186 it's still pretty damn hard, because he wasn't EXPECTING it!! he got caught and he had to use this shot as the very last resort, at the last second
Probably not his most spectacular of tweeners but real tennis fans will know the sheer talent it takes to pull something like that off. The reflexes, the timing, the genius. Greatest ever!

Its so funny this one.
Cause Roger is like "oops...well...its okay."
I dont know about others but I think its just so hilarous.

Emile Heskey could do that :L

i wonder if he trains for this lol don't think so but still so many players try this but they fail... it's also called the roger shot by me LOL

@xxR95xx Everyone can do shots like this in practice but it's too risky to do in a proper match. Federer won this point but he lost the match

All pros can do this - it's nothing special. Plus he lost this match

majority of pros wouldn't have touched the ball.

@69wiwi69 That's because most pros are more interested in winning match not showing off. It's time for Federer to retire
bobokk 7 months ago
@bobokk
showing off? this shot was the only solution he had, and that's why it's so impressive.
and how can you say he shows off? he's the most talented player on earth and yet he's humble
besides, number 3 in the world is not bad, he hasn't got to retire

amasing, but this vid also tells us that roger's footwork is slower than before

that is not that hard to do you know!!
but the tweener running away from the baseline (ie in the us open against djoker), THAT ONE IS WAY HARDER
