Shirosaki was there from day one, it explains why in the shattered shaft the mask formed without ichigos body exploding, because the hollow being born with ichigo took on the looks of ichigo, therefore rebuilding a body to become hollow is not needed. Shirosaki is ichigo's instinct, chaos.
Also Shirosaki is not part of Zangetsu as he claimed in the 2nd meeting. Zangetsu totally leaves Ichigo during Muramasa thing and Shirosaki remained with Ichigo, they combined power and defeated Zangetsu to get him back. Shirosaki also states to Muramasa when Mura ask him what he is Shiro says "I'm his true form, his instincts"

Even though Ichigo is cocky in this, that's part of his personality and not just his hollow does that. Usually when Ichigo gets his resolve he unleashes a blast of spiritual pressure. If his hollow existed before he would've been affected much earlier on, unless Kubo tries to do some kind of twist on us.

It isn't until after the Shattered Shaft technique when he almost turns into a hollow that it takes root in his soul. The mask shows up twice before he actually makes his first appearance when Zangetsu calls him out during Ichigo's fight with Kenpachi.
sorry to prove that you are wrong, but ichigo does indeed have his hollow at this point. Zangestu and The Hollow are both ichigos powers, because hes an abnormal shinigami. The hollow is trying to constantly get free, and the breaking of the strings should symbolize that it escaped for the first time.

Interesting theory, but I still have to disagree with you. It would stand to reason that if a hollow could be created by a transfer of power that a lot more people would know about Ichigo's inner hollow. Soul Society would be content just to let him destroy himself rather than trying to kill him.
Yes, there's a major increase in Ichigo's power, but that happens at other times too that are unrelated to the Ichigo/Hollow struggle. Ichigo's power is dependent on his mood and surroundings.

If you think about it nothing ever says specifically that the hollow came as a result of uruhara's training. I think that it was simply the first stressful situation that required it to come fourth.

@SasukeTheCursed Well, my theory is an extremely well supported one I think. And it's this: All three of them (Ichigo, Ogihci, and Zangetsu) are way too fucking overpowered. That's just what boils down to in the end and serves as the best explanation for me. Kubo made his Shujinko and everything else about him a bit too strong.

@SasukeTheCursed Yeah. In the flashback where Ichigo was sensing who's powers went into the sword that gave him his powers back we got to see Shinji. So maybe some of them were reinstated.

So he may have decided to give a few of them another shot, and they may have lived up to those expectations and he is now contemplating giving Ichigo that role, though Ichigo seems more like a full fusion of a Hollow and a Shinigami now due to his Fullbring and Shinigami powers melding together.

@SasukeTheCursed Yeah me too. I'm pretty sure it'll look like that one sword that he had with his fullbring but with a touch of Tensa Zangetsu's old look too. And they Shukaisho will probly have slightly shorter sleeves so his new wristbands will still be showing and stuff. I'm sure we'll figure out all that stuff soon.
@GingerKidZach seems probable. though what im really hoping for is ichigo to make it all the way to his complete bankai again, it had one nice look, and was strong enough to crush aizen for alot longer than ichigo let the fight go on.

@GingerKidZach well he wont lose it if he stays away from the final getsuga tenshou, his complete bankai is another story, its just him 100% synchronized with zangetsu and partly in tune with his hollows true power. so i think he might reach that stage again at some point, but not resort to his ultimate attack
@GingerKidZach and if i recall in one of the manga chapters aizen is talking to ichigo about why he is "high quality material" and according to him its because ichigo was part shinigami and part hollow. but aizen took interest in him even before he went through uruhara's training, so doesnt that mean ichigo was already part hollow? I might just be trying to read in between the lines to hard, but it makes sense.
So this is Shirosaki's first appearance. Although we don't hear the maniacal laughter, you can tell it's him just by his cocky behavior towards Renji. Awesome catch. I definitely forgot about this one!

I mean the fullbring users... lets face it they never seemed as powerful as the main shinigami, even with some of ichigos stolen power i dont think they would be on par. I just hope the fullbring arc ends soon and it moves on to the real reason the shinigami gave ichigo his powers back (you know old man yama has another reason for doing it)

@SasukeTheCursed Oh yeah. They must have something BIG going on in Soul Society to break they're customs and give him his powers back. Not just cause it'd be disrespectful to leave someone who helped them alone and floating like a turd in a punch bowl. Something huge has to be going on that they need his help with. And I agree with you on the fullbringers. I was just kinda hoping we'd get more from 'em is all. I'm sure we'll get it with the ones that are still alive.

@GingerKidZach ya, i mean if they just didnt want to leave him powerless why wait for so long to give him the powers back? I hope they do something with the vasto lorde. since aizen never found a complete vasto lorde(the closest thing he found was stark or maybe ulquiorra) im guessing maybe the soul society might have and are having some problems with them seeing as they are supposed to be stronger than captains.

@SasukeTheCursed Yeah. Maybe they're gonna make him a captain himself too though. If you remeber Isshin and Urahara's conversation about "taking his(Ichigo's) future away." That could've meant his future as a human. Maybe that sword made him a full Shinigami.

@GingerKidZach and interesting theory. personally i think that would be a much more fun path to follow. ichigo was getting bored with just being a normal human anyway. and it would be about damn time they offered him a captains position... i mean really how many times does 1 person have to save them all for them to say... ok hes earned it. hm come to think of it... rukia is a lieutenant now isnt she? i didnt see what symbol she had on her arm band tho, could she be ichigos second in command?

@GingerKidZach thats very likely, of course theres always the possibility that ichigo will be filling one of the still vacant positions left by tosen, ichimaru and aizen, though i would hope after all that time has past they would have atleast found a few people to take some of those positions

@SasukeTheCursed Yeah. In the flashback where Ichigo was sensing who's powers went into the sword that gave him his powers back we got to see Shinji. So maybe some of them were reinstated.

So he may have decided to give a few of them another shot, and they may have lived up to those expectations and he is now contemplating giving Ichigo that role, though Ichigo seems more like a full fusion of a Hollow and a Shinigami now due to his Fullbring and Shinigami powers melding together.

@SasukeTheCursed Yeah me too. I'm pretty sure it'll look like that one sword that he had with his fullbring but with a touch of Tensa Zangetsu's old look too. And they Shukaisho will probly have slightly shorter sleeves so his new wristbands will still be showing and stuff. I'm sure we'll figure out all that stuff soon.

@GingerKidZach seems probable. though what im really hoping for is ichigo to make it all the way to his complete bankai again, it had one nice look, and was strong enough to crush aizen for alot longer than ichigo let the fight go on.

@SasukeTheCursed Yeah. I'm sure he won't use that again though as a sign of caution with him not wanting to lose his powers again. I'm pretty sure he'll just stick to his normal Bankai.

@GingerKidZach well he wont lose it if he stays away from the final getsuga tenshou, his complete bankai is another story, its just him 100% synchronized with zangetsu and partly in tune with his hollows true power. so i think he might reach that stage again at some point, but not resort to his ultimate attack

@GingerKidZach and if i recall in one of the manga chapters aizen is talking to ichigo about why he is "high quality material" and according to him its because ichigo was part shinigami and part hollow. but aizen took interest in him even before he went through uruhara's training, so doesnt that mean ichigo was already part hollow? I might just be trying to read in between the lines to hard, but it makes sense.

So this is Shirosaki's first appearance. Although we don't hear the maniacal laughter, you can tell it's him just by his cocky behavior towards Renji. Awesome catch. I definitely forgot about this one!
