I had never listened to Placebo before. My friends convinced me to come with them, so we waited at the front lines the moment the former act on the main stage was over just to have a good spot. When my mates explained me what kind of music they played, I kind of regretted joining them in the front, rather than staying in the back enjoying myself with some beers.

But when they started playing... I just got blown away. Best concert I've ever seen! Placebo rocks!

I'm sorry, but Steve's singing is completely off key. I think they should let someone else from the band sing that part or just skip it. Steve is a great drummer, but no singer. And I can imagine how hard it must be to drum and sing at the same time, but...anyway...

Bullshit bullshit and bullshit again ! I'm sorry, even if there's energy on the stage, the song sounds good, for me, it's not Placebo ! But they grown up, they change, and ... That's the "new" Placebo. Maybe some will say that they needed this change but ... Sometimes too much change kills the the change. I want the "old" Placebo back !

So agree. From their debut album through Sleeping with ghost i felt that they just had this sound and lyrical quality. Meds and after has let me down both lyrically and in terms of how all the songs have a boring verse chorus structure. Molko's voice even isn't that high pitch goodness it use to be.

yeah, they are. i think it may be due to guitar tuning from the song before... rather than retune/switch the guitars, they just do the song in another key.

cuz it was towards the end of a 4 hour set

so the singer could hack it.

El nuevo album es una joya, como todo lo que hace Placebo, son buenos temas y si por supuesto que no es igual que un Without u i,m nothing o el mismo album de Placebo( el primero),pero eso es buena señal. Esto indica que hay evolución, puesto que un grupo que transmite con sus letras y su musica como es Placebo, no puede hacer dos albums iguales porque eso indicaría que no hay progreso personal, que no habría nada nuevo que transmitir. Ni molko ni nosotros somos los mismos que hace 10 años
