I quite like the dramatic almost breathless frightened tempo at the beginning...but when the chorus comes in for its unison, it should SLOW DOWN. Also, where are you all's horns?

I would like to politely disagree with the idea that this piece should move at the pace of a durge. Consider the lyrics...How can one passionately express these thoughts and not be rather animated? Most funerals politely avoid the ideas raised here.

I've noticed on the videos of the other movements, they are usually pretty fast as well.

tempo is waaay too fast and the dynamics are too loud throughout the piece.... contrast is good but its forte though much of the performance

I think the tempo really brought a lot of life to the piece but it loses meaning in the lyrics. In reality I don't think you can speed this song up because this man is pleading for his soul, not something you would do briskly, hehe.
