I agree with making conditions more difficult for Palestinian prisoners. I felt physically sick when I heard that Islamist psychopath Samir Kuntar studied for a university degree (no doubt to improve his psychopathic terrorism skills) at Israeli taxpayers' expense. Gilad should be at university right now.

The Gilad Shalit affair is truly tragic. However Israel has other options open

to it to try to free him. for example they could make conditions more difficult

for Hamas prisoners. I can't help but thinking of another Israeli captive who

has languished in prison for 25 YEARS. Jonathan Pollard deserves to be

free also and the "price" to pay is a mere pittance, The Israeli government

has to get behind that initiative.
