I completely agree with you. Before it was "Man trumps woman", how could it damage men to continue oppressing women, then you got some attention. Now, it is like the laws are there, for equality, but the engine of "women's sufferage" went on at full force, no brakes. In a way it is like still being an abolitionist(in regards to slavery) after it has been legally band. It is going to take a while, but I think this issue will gain some ground, not even the feminist movement had a smooth start.

Another angle that I believe is a good approach within reasonably civilized governments. Make issues about human rights rather than one gender against the other. Like for instants 'take back the night' campaign ...make it about everyone. Like what about disabled men, young boys, very elderly men at night? How is it that women have a lock on 'safety' and 'protection' they have no right to claim that their's is anymore important than any1 else's -the FEMmovement has become a human rights violation

I think it's always better to show how things effect everyone instead of just one group (in this case, men). It may not be always be about women, but society does tend to view women as the inferior/weaker sex and in need of protection.

It's flawed to think in that manner. Men and women are equal, in my eyes, and therefore we should not assume that women are inferior in some manner and treat them on completely equal terms. This way people won't instantly think that women need extra protection.

Cant speak for everyone, but I dont think that women are evil, or that men are oppressed, but I am very against lies and nonsense. The whole modern reconstrual of feminism with womens studies, and anti-logic emotionalism, vilifying and scapegoating men to make women appear innocent just bugs me.

I dont think its so much of a power struggle as it is differences men and women have that will likely never change. For instance women get more parenting rights, but then they are the ones actually carrying the child, if the man doesnt want it because he'll have to pay child support there isnt really anything he can do, its not his body. And women, most cant walk at night safely and that is something that probably wont change either

The reason i watch my back at all times is because so many things like that have happened to me. I still hold the view that this video is by far one of the best videos regarding equality on youtube. Everyone should see it, and if they disagree, they don't understand it properly.

Basic idea recap: Empathy towards men as a gender is non-existant in todays society. There is absolutely no sense of equality on this subject, and as long as there is'nt - there can never be any form of equality between the genders.
