I saw a film on the life of the Prophet (The Messenger) and it had music. My children watch an Animated film on the life of the Prophet (Muhammad - PBUH) and it has music. Is there a context as to why the prophet said string instruments were Haram?

I think he didn't get to compleat his talk, but I have heard that when Hazrat Bilal did azan and said ''Ash-hadu anna Muhammadur Rasulallah'' he use to look at Rasool Muhammad PBUH and the last time he did Azan his eyes started searching for our beloved prophet and could not see him and due to this passed away.
