Well, I personally think that there are two ways how it happened:
Benoit who suffered from dementia, was somehow roidraging ( I know that the police said it wasnt the case, but their found 4 different drugs in his body) and killed his wife.
He realized what he did later and couldnt live without it, but he couldnt stand the idea of his son being alone and wanted to "end the pain" Out of respect he didnt used the later found knife, and killed him without daniel knowing.

Well, I personally think that there are two ways how it happened:
Benoit who suffered from dementia, was somehow roidraging ( I know that the police said it wasnt the case, but their found 4 different drugs in his body) and killed his wife.
He realized what he did later and couldnt live without it, but he couldnt stand the idea of his son being alone and wanted to "end the pain" Out of respect he didnt used the later found knife, and killed him without daniel knowing.
