  • @mimi0674 On low heat 10-12 hours, oh high heat 5-6 hours.

  • Put your pot roast in a crock pot straight from package. Add salt pepper,paprika(flavor4 broth) McCormciks HeartyBeefStew Seasoning and place in crock pot on KEEP WARM. TIMES MAY VARY(I put mine in at 1:30AM i didnt put it on high until 3:30pm I put on low at 5:00pm and took it out at 6:15pm) When you put it on High that means you have added your chopped potatoes and onion gravy(this adds a lil more flavor and gives a lil thickness..when you put on LOW you have added your celery, carrots&onions

  • @S3X3M323 is that beef jerky ? my god.

  • 6 onions??? Was that really six onions??

  • This guys got some ansty dirty fingernails. Then touches the meat w/them! WTF! Yuck!

  • 6 onions and 6 potatoes really more like 1 onion and 1 potatoe you stupid moron

  • 6... 6... 6.... DEMONIC CROCKPOT!! O.o

  • actually you don't have to brown the meat.I make roast in my crock pot all the time. And you don't have to season it.I like my recipe better I use can beef broth, 1 pk onion soup (like for onion dip) cream of celery, a-1 sauce then of course carrots and pots

  • Dude have u ever heard of a spatula or maybe a spoon why the fuck do u have to touch the whole meal and another thing that is real fucking smart playing with the uncoiled meat then touching everything else good way to get sick asshole hahaha

  • Your supposed to have it in layers...the meat is way to small..and the wine makes everything "red"..thats gross..yuck

  • That was going so well until it abruptly cut off. For you folks that are wondering how long you leave a roast in the slow cooker on low for, the general rule is 8 hours for delicious, moist, tender meat. By then the veggies will also be very flavorful and tender. If you set it on high, it should be ready in 4-6 hours, but when it comes to a big roast in a crock pot, I tend to like it on low.

  • fk this video. I am not gong to search for the other part FAIL! ARSEWIPES

  • Once againm they give you a basic receipe but then add more. Is there not a way to block these vids?

  • This guy is not a good cook. The title does read "easy" crock pot recipe, however he doesn't season the actual roast. Nor does he brown the meat prior to putting it in the pot. The finished product would be lacking some flavor that could have "easily" been added.

  • This guy is definitely not a real chef. Pot roast is very basic and he messed it up big time. And what's with the camera guy yelling out, "It's six carrots! We're using six carrots!" ??? I agree with everyone else, expertvillage is most definitely NOT an "expert" when it comes to producing these videos. They really ought to be ashamed having the name "expertvillage." I watched a video made by a 91 year old great-grandmother yesterday that was more professional than "expertvillage."

  • make sure its your crock pot ,

not to mistaken your crap pot or piss pot

these items ar best keep elsewhere

    tyvm <a message from ,,,,exfartspillage

  • expert village are always lame...never give you the info and are cut up in segments...good luck finding the endings of their videos

  • How long do u have to cook it on low and can i do garlic in stead of onions?

  • Obviously this dude is a amateur at cooking because he didn't even add "Garlic" .What person that knows what they are doing omits garlic from a roast ? Either powder, wedges,or both.

How about turnips, celery as well. How about injecting the meat with a garlic/olive oil mix ? HELLO !

  • @demmylowther ,,

    i concur

  • Brown the damn meat first! It'll only take a couple of minutes!

  • wait! how long do you cook it on low?

  • Where do i find beef stock?

  • At the grocery store! Usually by the soups.

  • dear my lipsare dry- you can purchase beefstock at your local hardware store in the plumbing section- your handle should read mybrainis mush-

that pot roast looks really good!

  • expert village, pfft, village idiots is closer to the mark

seen their welding videos? completely generic information with no specifics at all,

  • You are right, they are terrible.

  • I like to pour the juice out (later) into a pan then add a mix of corn starch and water in, then add garlic, pepper, and butter. Then, throw that stuff back into the mix so it's like a stew. Fricken rox.

  • you should add a little flour to the meat, sear it in an iron skillit before placing in the crock pot.

  • whos gonna eat six onions????

  • the 6 people u share it with..

  • Where's the rest of this?

  • how long?

  • I'm sorry.. 6 carrot I would believe.. but that did not look like 6 onions or 6 potatoes..

  • no it doesnt and does the guy behind the camera not think we could hear him

  • how long???? this sucks!!!

  • Who cares! This is so funny. remember he's a Chef don't you know - trained in the finest schools in France & has cooked for celebrities

  • bullshit but he does know how to tell you to put a roast in a crockpot

  • It's more like 2 large onions and 2 large potatoes. :-|

  • you are so right!!

  • Every recipe I've seen cooked by this guy is just terrible.

  • lol the chef seemed pissed after the dumass in the background said SIX CARROTS!!

  • loooolz ya right i just paid attention to that , he was gona pick up the pot and throw it at him lolz

  • massage that meat baby .. chefs make me hot. lol

  • he good

  • it takes an expert village to raise an idiot

  • I hate expertvillage. Chopping up videos is the reason they fail.

  • I hate them too, who needs 20 videos to watch some dude make fried chicken.

  • FAILURE!

  • You wanna set it to low....

    ..... ????

  • this chef doesnt' cook, he just prepares apparently..i guess

  • I like this recipe but I've never cooked in a crock pot before. Does anyone know how long you would cook the pot roast for? Thanks.

  • This recipe looks great but video cut off before you indicated how long to cook the pot roast. How long do you cook it for?

  • Can you help me? I think I am about to ruin another roast. It is a 2.2 Lb Prime Chuck Roast, I bought it from Gelsons.(An expensive store) I browned the outside in a skillet first, now I have cooked it low in the oven for 3 hours at 200 degrees. It has water, seasonings, garlic and kitchen bouquet. I can't even slice at all it is too tough. I put it back in the oven hoping I can cook it enough to fall apart. Should I tried to move it over to a crock pot? Please advise.

    Thanks

    Lori

  • Hello Lori. Usually, it's better to cook your meat this way: 200F - 9 hours 250F - 6 hours 300F - 3 hours.

Put 1 enveloppe of dry onion soup on top.

Cover the meat with aluminium paper, tightly.

THAT'S ALL. Eventually you may add salt, pepper, carrots, onions, dry red wine etc.

BUT beef/ dry onion soup/ aluminium paper never fails. Good luck.

  • oh and what is good is the crock pot bag thing where you put your roast in a bag it makes it so tender :)

  • I think it would be nice to see the finished product.

  • you don't seem to smile and he doesn't take out the food tsk tsk tsk bad

  • yeah how long do i cook it ffs ??!?

  • Try the Martha Stewart stew recipe yummy!!

  • you're a shitty cook

  • I found that funny as hell

  • As did I.
